Trier Cathedral: Unity in Diversity

St. Peter’s Cathedral in Trier is the oldest bishop’s church in Germany and has been a part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1986. It unites 1700 years of faith, architectural and art history as well as every European style since Antiquity. Trier Cathedral embodies as no other structure the history of Christianity north of the Alps - a history of tolerance and living faith but also one of destruction and reconstruction - singularly fascinating!
