[The Last Princess 步云衢] In the early 20th century, people lived in poverty in China. Jin Yurong, who was from a downfallen aristocrat family, aspired to become a doctor to help more people with her skills. She met Zhao Zhengnan, who was from a powerful family and also wanted to help the people. They met each other, got to know each other and fell in love with each other, while trying their best to find the ways to make the world a better place. After going through many hardships, Yurong finally became a doctor and Zhao Zhengnan became a progressive military officer who kept people safe. However, they had to separate from each other due to the storm of the era and in the end, they were far apart from each other. When Yurong fell into the depths of despair, the communism belief lit up her world and she gradually started her new life fighting for the revolution, becoming its invisible guardian. After overcoming danger, Yurong and Zhao Zhengnan finally got married. Being influenced by Yurong, Zhao Zhengnan became a Communist too. They joined hands in the Anti-Japanese War of Resistance and welcomed the new China together.

I don’t get why she’s acting so scared of him? He’s protected her. Obviously he shouldn’t have just kissed her. She needs time to process.
She is not prepared yet , everything happened so suddenly.the camera man scared her more than him.
I think it's because of what her best friend told her about his bad reputation, which i believe he is keeping up to hide his true intentions and intelligence. So as far as she's concerned she just found out that her 1st love turned out to be a menace to society.

I have not given Zhang He a chance since “Lost Love in Times.” I hated his character and thought his acting was sub par. I’m enjoying “Last Princess” so far. He’s great and hopefully will continue to sweep by storm. Routing for a break out for him.
