that's exactly what recones are for, going naaasssty! glad you're keeping up the content. been running my two new xv3 on one of the big red hcca 5k that over-performs and they're smacking. built a box using program online tuned to 32hz and they were killing it at the midwestspl comp last saturday in wichita ks. i think i am finally going to start my own car audio channel as well, has me so nervous for some reason! lol

So you didn't see, that his old single sub build/vehicle, got totaled in an accident? Im sure with all the subwoofer's he had, it's a pretty obvious next step, that "Most" of us would have stepped up our next build! Pretty cold hearted😢 It's your loss though, Colten is a great addition to our "Basshead" community!
I would rather watch your channel then the bigger UA-cam channels about spl problem is I seen every video it really sucks we missed out on the build vlog would have loved to seen it. Keep the film rolling and you definitely will end up at the top!🫡
Hey man i got a quick question cause i think something it up with my system. I got a surge 10k on 2 Xv3 15s at 1 ohm with 144ah of lishen LTO charging at 15.6v in a 6th order. Mine gets windy and slams but definitely not as windy as your seems to be and my problem is im not sure if im just maxing out the amp or if its something else that is going on but i feel like im clipping real early for how much power its making because once i get into clipping it starts to get real loud how i want it and im only dropping like .2v max. Am i just hitting the limitations of the amp or do you think i have something else going on?
@@SingleSubScrub I need to clamp it again. Before this I had a salt-6 at .25 and clamped 8.8k rising to .6 but I was only on 80ah headway then and was dropping to low 12s. I'm thinking about getting another 10k and running them at .5 to each sub to help fight with rise.
@@crunkjuice29 Bandpass enclosure's generally have alot of impedance rise, i wouldn't be surprised if your impedance was between 4 to 6 ohm's through most of your band width!? So your amp dynos around ( 11k @ 1 ohm ), ( 6k @ 2 ohm's ),( 3k @ 4 ohm's ), and prob.( 1.5k @ 8 ohm's )= if your 4 to 6 ohm's while playing music= your actual power to your sub's may only be between ( 2,200 to 3k watt's Rms!? ) You have such a big battery bank, maybe try wiring your amp to .25 ohm, for just 1-slow rolled, test tone burp, = ( i don't rec. wiring to .25 ohm= even with a korean half bridge designed amp like your's ), but if your careful, @ your peak freq., and watch voltage= do @ your own risk! But just do a slow rolled burp= don't play music, @ .25 ohm. Where ever your voltage drops to, should be about where it would drop to, with 2-of your amps @ .50 ohm. This will tell you how well your charging system, could hold up, with 2 amps.

I sent you an email to see if you can make a design for a pair of xv3 18s

I Have a sun roof as well idk what I'm going to do about it
I deleted mine and welded a steel sheet over it!
@@SingleSubScrub thanks brotha I'll do that
The nsv3 is my favorite sub ever made
ha i had tinitus at 15 odd flex but it is what it is
Can you design a box for my 2 zv5 15s 4th or 6th order whatever can fit in the back seat of a 2005 Tacoma 4dr
Expand from facebook, sum people dont use it 🤷♂️ good shit tho🔥💯
That's why I included email. More pages will be made very soon.
Oh okay thanks 🙏
Sunroofs are not good for car audio. I just had to fix mine.
What an awesome setup. What songs were you playing?
A bunch of DJ Russticals VIP pack stuff. 21 savage x (19+), three 6 mafia - break the law (22), can't remember what 3rd one is
Killin it bro
You gonna be at the Odin comp?

158 DB on base doesn't induce tinnitus?
I definitely have tonight is but your take. Is the dish in the tweeters or the mids?
low frequency sound isnt as damaging to the ears like high frequencies.

Hopefully you make it to the MWSPL finals this year. Would love a new demo. The single sub was banging the last yea though
I do plan on being there!
So im pulling like 120db out of my xv3 18 on 2k does that seem like a normal volume for that setup. Box is 10 cubes @21hz
120 DB you said, umm yeah something is off if that's what you're getting outta 18 even on 2k watts. What does your electrical look like ?
@@cptklutch26 hey bro so we came to the conclusion that im a dummy and didnt even think about cabin gain its more like high 130s maybe even 40s
This a windy set up for sure broo

why do you think youre clipping? do you have a clip indicator or an o-scope?
Amp has a clip indicator as well a temperature readout.
Have you clamped it? Know what you're rising to? My assumption is that you have a lot of rise. So earlier clipping on less power.
