Great video! I have an issue with the Workman SWR reading, it’s over 3 (in the red). I have a roof rack with an eyelet for the antenna, the outer coax has continuity to ground and the coax cable is good (continuity tested). Now I’m thinking a bad radio or meter. Any suggestions? Thnx!!
Thanks for posting this. I bought the same meter but it came with no insrtuctions. I had one more thought though. I bought a firestik no ground plane antenna 4 foot with a tuning screw on top. Not knowing a whole lot about CB antennas I wrote to the factory rep. He said I should set swr both at CH 1 and CH 40 to be the same. I suppose this would make it equally bad across the whole band or equally good depending on the swr at both points of the band. Any thoughts?

I’m using a 102 steel whip antenna, I’m getting a 2 on my swr meter
when I key the mike the needle in the fwd position does not move when I turn the knob what am I doing wrong
Mine has a watt switch 10 and 100. Where is that set when checking SWR?
What is a cheap digital SWR meter ?
Do you put the cb in swr mode then?
