You know, Hasbro wouldn’t even have to change their head sculpt for Bee. They could just paint the silver rings around his eyes blue, and bam, bigger eyes.
Bro. Hasbro and Bumblebee is like Activision and supply drops 😂😂 Anyways this is my favorite character so I don’t care that much.

I love this mode but the rear side windows tend to crack a bit after a while from repeated transformations pegging them in. I wish Takara's clear plastic was as resilient as Lego's.
Oh really? Luckily I haven’t had any breakages but I can definitely see it being a problem
I had the same problem with my 07 studio series Bumblebee. But it was the front window on mine.. stress crack.
Also happened to me but instead it was the rotf bumblebee with the door cracking
@@Dat1214 as a child, a throw about bee a bit but he is doing great. No problems after a year of transforming him.
Both of my doors broke on my SS-49 bumblebee:/

I think we can agree on this, the studio series community either thought “This is gonna be the best original sculpt of bee” and others might have thought “I knew it.”
Yeah I mean it’s not perfect but definitely a really nicely done figure
@@PrimeVsPrime even though it’s a repaint I like it better then the other bee figures to be honest. That’s just my opinion.
The one thing that bugs me on this is that the lower wings are inaccurate, because in DOTM it was formed from the rear wing/spoiler.
I know its impossible with this figures engineering but it would be nice if there was a figure who had the correct lower wings
Which bits? If im not mistaken didnt rotf bee had that as well
@@uainjansun Actually the rear windows of his Camaro mode forms his lower wings in 2007 and ROTF. But in DOTM the rear spoiler becomes his lower wings in robot mode

I really wonder what else can we do with Studio Series.
There is knight Optimus Prime, Devcon, and the last knight decepticons like nitro zeus or Mohawk. But it is a bit concerning that those 9 or so characters are the final options, excluding the entirety of 86, before we just devolve into nothing characters or concept characters.
Atleast until ROTB.

I skipped every other version of ss bumblebee just because I was waiting for this one and I'm so happy it didn't disappoint

Honestly for vehicle mode I think this version of bumblebee is the most accurate to the actual movies out of all three versions the first one used a production Camaro as a vehicle mode instead of the concept which always made it look off to me in vehicle mode especially since it had those extra rectangle reverse lights on the back the second one continued the error of the backend being wrong but then also had that really Jenkee looking paint on the front end where they didn’t continue the black paint in the areas where they should’ve this one looks like it got the paint the mold and the design right
Now we shall await for an AOE Bee that's a heavy retool of Stinger
We need a remold, because that bee toy from 2014 was so disappointing 😕
Looks great. I will buy. As you mentioned I really do wish there was a new ribcage/ab piece though. Perhaps a 3rd party will make an add-on kit or replacement piece or something. A new headsculpt would be cool too.
I just got this and was disappointed by the vehicle mode. His arms drag below it so that the wheels don’t roll.
I honestly was not to thrilled with his stock photos on Amazon but man will this figure be epic. Anyways awesome review

Now that DOTM bee dont have a Battle Mask, I am thinking Hasbro will release the 2007 and ROTF with Normal Heads. I wish it will be a 3-pack with a Stealthforce version of DOTM. here's hoping :D

They're rereleasing the 2007 Studio Series Bumblebee in a five-pack later this year along with the other Movie 1 Autobots and he's going to have an unmasked head
one issue I also have is that I wish the frontwheels would be able to extend back more in robot mode because it can get in the way of the arms
I hope there will be a premium version of this bumblebee, it’s lacking some details and should’ve been a different yellow

I would honestly love to get a Cyberfire repaint for the new mold. Hasbro and Takara did something similar like that with the Jeep Bumblebee, so why not get a Cyberfire repaint?
A cyberfire version would be incredible!
I got mine from DSHOP. It's a Chinese KO Version, that somehow cost almost as much. It fell in half the first time I transformed it into a robot. There was one tiny screw holding the two halves together that barely reached the second part.
I love these figures i remember having figures like these when the movie came out when i was a kid and the transforming was such a pain

The wheels are two tone irl, with the large spokes being grey and the smaller ones bring black. Ik because I'm painting those exact wheels just like that!
This is the best review ever compared to other channels who look disappointed in this epic figure and have some high expectations...
Personally I like the studio series high octane Bumblebee head sculpt and sort of wished they used that one.
I have too many CHUG Bumblebees already, and I was not going to get this one, but I think you just sold me on him. It does look to be the best modern Camero version of Bee in Studio Series.

It’s not bad, but sadly like every SS bee up until SS 100, this figure suffers from fragility, a super fiddly transformation, tabs that don’t tab in, frustrating legs, and overall I will always prefer the original 2011 DOTM bee mold as it’s far more enjoyable to transform. Though to be fair I am a bit bias since that was my first ever Bumblebee deluxe.
I only wish it had flip down battle mask.

Bumblebee is a nice toy , only problem he has trouble tabbing in vehicle mode.
If they all have the same transformation you could easily pop off the arms heads and legs and you would have what you wanted with the extra gun metal color

DOTM Bumblebee’s camaro mode I do love more than the others because the ss camaro is more fitting for Bee.
I like this bumblebee but it’s really missing the rib cage which makes lt look off in an angle and the color is around orange but otherwise great job showing this to us!

In all fairness, the original DotM Bumblebee mold borrowed engineering cues from the HftD Battle Blade Bumblebee. That said, now that we HAVE the DotM design...they need to do what Takara did with the original DotM mold in their Movie the Best line: do a pink repaint as the disguised Laserbeak!!
For that matter, Hasbro completely dropped the ball on SS74 RotF Bee by not having his battle blade for his left arm.

This is amazing and seems to resolve the problems from the 2007 bee figure so I will defenetly be getting and customising to look as great as it could

I'm gonna swap the heads for the DOTM and '07 molds. I personally prefer the' 07 design over the rest, but I didn't like the battle mask.. Now I can get my perfect Bumblebee
Now I’m just waiting for a proper age of extinction bumblebee. I’m thinking of a re-mold and re-color of the stinger figure.
The doors are the most hardest part of transforming Bumblebee into vehicle.

I just had to re buy mine because the wheel came off on the feet and the black paint job had a lot of hair and dust underneath it but my new one is perfect besides the little bit of grey spilling on some yellow
I love this mold, but I'm a little worried about getting it because I got the one from movie 1, and the door wing broke off after a couple months of having it.
Same after like a year tho with my tf 1 bee but my rotf one is pretty good it hasn’t broke yet

Fun fact: the yellow-gold color of bumblebee is completely custom, you can not by a Camaro with that exact color. The Camaro does come in yellow but not that shade

Hey PvP I watched your red cog vid yesterday and I wanted to ask if you know when his official release date in stores is?
I just bought the figure, and I love it. But I am gonna leave the figure in the vehicle mode as I don't wanna keep transforming the figure and allow it to get weaker and look worse over time.

I swear I just seen this in a shop and assumed he was a core class because he just looks way smaller than the other bumblebees. Maybe it was a different version. But what I seen was a studio series dotm bumblebee so it must be what I'm seeing here that looks bigger than I thought.
Edit: On further thought I think it's because the new box sometimes makes certain figures look smaller than they actually are
I also biggest fan of Dark of the Moon Bumblebee because i also like this design between robot mode 🤖 and vehicle mode 😊. That's mean nothing i want to complain about 😂. It's depends on me wether i want to buy this figure OR i wait Hasbro and Takara Tomy create Age of Extinction and The Last Knight Bumblebee 🙂.

When I got this figure, one of the door wings is kinda broken, and I feel like this figure is too loose. It might just be mine, but mine kinda sucks

Why do I get the get the feeling they might rerelease the figure but add the bigger rib chestplate covering the headlights like in the movie. Honestly I feel like they should do that for a potential the last knight bumblebee
cant wait to get this figure I got the 2007 version accuracy for it is amazing but IT IS NOT FUN AT ALL it dosent tab in at all making it super floppy and the two door wings broke off the figure is not fun whatsoever maybe they fixed that with this one or the ROTF one. great review it looks great! I loved the changes they did to bumblebee in DOTM so this is a figure I will for sure get.

Each time i try to snap the doors in place they don't go on it and one comes off
So the headsculpt is better than I expected. Thought it would be a direct reuse of the Clunker Bee head.
But I will still did on the hill that the WWII Bumblebee has the best Bayverse Bumblebee headsculpt to date.
I agree ww2 bee has the best head by far. No idea why they can’t use that
@@PrimeVsPrime I asked King Samlock, the designer, on Instagram about this and he said it's a waste because they would have to use the tool for the whole WWII Bee mold just to get the head. I don't know why they wouldn't just use the same 3D file.

Did you know, that this 2011 Camaro look he has in DOTM, isn't an SS Camaro like in all the other movies, but rather a semi-custom Camaro *GS* which was actually a concept car that never officially hit the streets, and ended up strictly being a cadet for the track.

Actually tf3 Bumblebee is based off of Jay Leno's custom 2009 v6 camaro, same front bumper and hood, and it is an ss in the movie.

The QC on mine is so bad, floppy legs, doors fall off and can’t get the doors to close fully in VM
Cannot get the quarter panels (rear of the doors) to finally tab in to save my life...
It bothers me so much that Hasbro doesn't paint those 2 dots or whatever black on top of his head... it makes the headsculpt look unfinished and plain like it's such a little but big detail that they won't do for some reason
I really hope we get a studio series evasion Optimus prime and last knight optimus both designs are in need of the studio series treatment.
Evasion prime would be really cool to see
Brilliant translation of his best movie designs just a shame the plastic is flimsy on some parts and doors break easily
