- Covid has scuppered a fair few things... Like the perfectly timed onset of my new job just as my PhD ended. Yeah. That didn't work out so much. But it turns out the two are doable together: you just need to become a man of focus... commitment... sheer will. No, wait, that's a John Wick quote. Still, my point stands.

hello you might not remember me but im the person from a school you came to and you made and video about it and you actually done a job you wanted
Did you manage to do both on the same day at "Home Office"? I found it quite easy to manage two disjunct stuffs on the same day when both were in different locations and involved movement but if both were in home office, then concentration on two stuffs at the same time was difficult.
I was also quite curious to know if it was hard to convince your doctoral advisor about the move?

I've been a primary school teacher for the past 3 and a half years and just submitted my dissertation for my MSc part-time.
I have now just accepted a part-time PhD in Psychology whilst working full-time!
