Quick question. So I got the stage 1 honda clone carb. I received a lil packet with a jet. The jet inside the packet is the performance jet right? So I removed the jet that came in the carb and installed the jet that was in the packet. Hope I did it right
Hey!, I have a really big problem, i bought this kit to put on my Coleman B200R the only problem is that i cannot install the jet inside the carburator because the bottom of my carburator it does not have the bolt to remove the carburator cap, it only has the drain plug. i dont know how to access that jet to put the 0.38mm jet that comes with this kit😭
@@GoPowerSports I tried riding testing the kit without the 0.38mm jet but the bike sounded like it wanted to turn off and if I let off the throttle it would turn off, is that because it doesn't have the 0.38mm jet from the kit?

Question, I just installed this kit on my B200 196cc. At 5:22 you said the tank vent hose does not apply to the coleman’s. Do I have to cut that hose like the end and use a vent that came with the kit and also do I put the valve cover vent hose back on and use the other vent like the video? Reason I am asking is because after the kit install my bike starts and when I accelerate it just dies… can’t figure out why.
@@Tmtoutdoors no one in their customer service department reached out to me… I emailed, called and left 3 voicemails and also got on their social media dm’s and on here. What I did is adjust the fuel/air screw on the carburetor. Turn it all the way to the right I believe be careful not to break the tabs once it won’t turn anymore easily stop. The bike has to be running and adjust the opposite way from there. Also make sure your gaskets are on correctly on the carburetor. I double gasketed by accident.

you probably figured it out by now but your carb is probably made so you cant take the jet out, so you have to order a new one from gps, called the stage 1 carb
If I don't feel confident enough in myself to be able to do all this correctly will my local ATV/DIRTBIKE Shop do this performance Kit install for me ? Not that you know who my local guys are but just saying in general would most places do this for a small fee ? I just ordered an X-PRO 200cc Super Size Mini Trail Bike online and if this thing only does like 24 or 25 MPH top speed I already know I will want it upgraded. My Honda Spree scooter I had back in the late 80's even went faster than that lol. The thing is I am def not a mechanic by any means of the word and am worried if I start taking parts and pieces off I won't remember where everything goes and never get it back together properly.

I don't know why it vibrates so bad and even feels slower at the top end. I replaced the car with the Honda clone with the jet already in it that you guys sell.
I would make sure your engine mount welds aren't broken, then make sure all your hardware is tightened. Doing a stage 1 kit shouldn't mess with your engine that drastically, must be something else shaking you.
just purchased your upgrade kit for the coleman ex and the jet in my carb will not come out. it is designed where you can only tighten it. all other mods installed correctly but with this factory jet i have no idle (wants to take off as soon as its started) and it sputters at full throttle(tried to drill it out with no luck). any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I used a screw extractor, the second from the smallest size, mine was labeled as a #2. If bit into the inner edge not into the hole in the center. Upon removal I discovered why it would not unscrew. The other side is missing, so they intended to prevent easy removal of this jet.
I just ordered two kits and they both came with the sleeve. However, what they did not tell me is the new minibikes have a security jet and you cannot remove it. So, I bought two carbs on Amazon for $18.99
@@armypilot1 they won't tell you anything they just want to sell you parts I ordered a throttle plate well I was talking to the guy not once did he tell me you couldn't Mount the stock tank back on but he did call me to reprimand me and told me not to bad-mouth them on UA-cam but to call him didn't get anywhere with him he says the crappy welds on the pipe it's something they're working on why did they send me one with a bad weld I bought a kit 2 hitter pipes and a carburetor you think he would have sent me the sleeve but they won't budge an inch to please a customer I'm leaving the gopowersports stickers on my bikes just so when people ask me I can tell them how bad they suck. Studz cells the same things that they do but they care about their customers I am about to spend a couple of thousand dollars and I will spend it with them not gopowersports

I sent them an email about a discount code that I saw in the video that did not work and this was "Tim Yochum's" response: No, there are no discounts this year because of the Chinese tariffs. We have not raised prices and can't afford any more discounts. Just a real dick attitude. Their attitude is why I bought the replacement carburetors from Amazon instead of them I will avoid them at all costs from now on.

you could watch a video of guys putting screws in their tires for studs. Would be my suggestion and learn to do it yourself which is not rocket science and is not hard. I have faith.

you probably messed up the air filter adapter and developed a leak if you haven't figured it out yet...

The screw that you attach the bracket for holding the choke lever in place is placed where I cannot fully cut the choke off. Any suggestions.
Yeah me to man, I ended up breaking the metal piece that attaches to that screw and am stuck. Did you ever get an answer for this problem?

That is correct. Coleman's now have a non adjustable carb. You would need a new stock carb to change the jet.

It will be louder. An exhaust will help quiet it down.

you probably figured it out by now but your carb is probably made so you cant take the jet out, so you have to order a new one from gps, called the stage 1 carb

Mine is the same way -- flat head will not take it out. why do they do that where it cant be removed??

You'll need to buy a stock carb because your Coleman Carb does not allow you to remove the jet.
Not sure why after installing kit the bike shuts off when choke is all the way off like it's not get enough gas.

You would have to upgrade your engine. The stock coleman is a smaller 5/8" crankshaft where normal engines have a 3/4" crankshaft.
