I love the 355. It’s going to be the next Dino 246 GT/GTS. Not long ago it didn’t get a lot of love or appreciation but now it’s quadrupled in price and everyone wants one. Right now you can get good 355’s for $70k-$100k for low mile cars and as low as $50k for higher mileage cars. Pretty soon you’ll see prices for 355’s double and triple. Especially on 6 speed cars. If you have the means I’d buy one as soon as possible before prices start skyrocketing.
That was before Corona ;) Prizes will drop, as soon people get aware the car is very difficult to keep in good shape! Don’t forget it’s Italian quality....! (C-pillar cracks, window problems, fuel tank problems soon to come, due to ethanol, valve guides, cracked headers, melty interior, electrical problems, and on and on and on....)
I could have bought one in 2012 for £32k (GBP) low miler, 1 owner from a local Ferrari specialist in Kent UK, but ummmed and aaarrred and decided not to..very BIG mistake, 8 years on in 2020 could sell now for £80 - £100k.....
Mann Uber-Alles I remember when the F40 was relatively cheap considering the car. They used to sell for $250k and even less in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s before shooting back up in value starting about 15 years ago. I remember seeing a F40 for sale for $225k back in 2000 or maybe 2001. In the Ferrari world that’s cheap. Now you can’t touch one for less than $1,000,000. At least not a good one.
In 1997 when I first ever saw this car on the television. I fell in love with it. This is the car that started my love and passion for cars. Thank you for such a beautiful video. The spec is perfect too. I've made it my life's goal to have one before I die.
I must have seen this 20x. I love the stance and lines of this beautiful car. Plus, the background music suits the video. High revving flat-plane v8, what a well balanced platform-work of art. This and the F40 are my two favorite cars made by Ferrari.

This video really hit me. Nostalgic with synthwave soundtrack and my favourite car. Nice combination of two last decades of the twentieth century with top of the line video quality.
I really love old super cars engine sound especially when driving winding roads! They sound lot better than when seeing them on the street with lots of various cars. It seems kind of meaningless to drive them on the street when you have to stop in every 3 minutes plus rush hour and heavy traffic. With an exception, I still can't forget the scene in the Scent of Woman when Al Pacino test drives a red Ferrari (1989 Ferrari Mondial t Cabriolet) with Charley.
Obožavam ovaj automobil, ikonu 90- ih. Lamborghini Diablo i F355..., posteri u mojoj sobi iz tog vremena🥰... Dizajn je bezvremen, i danas da ga provozate ulicom svi će se okrenuti, definitivno među 2- 3 najbolje dizajnirana Ferrarija u zadnjih 40 godina. A ovo je bila ulaznica u svijet Ferrarija 90- ih. Nevjerovatan zvuk, pogotovo ako je Capristo dodao svoju melodiju u ispušni sistem. Radije bih imao ovaj fantastično očuvani F355 nego novi F90. Nije sve u ubrzanju i ležanju, stari model s H ručnim mjenjačem ima feeling u vožnji kakav F90 nikad neće imati. O zvuku da i ne govorim.
Growing up in the 90s and early 00s, I think it was easy to become jaded by car design; there were so many beautiful and timeless cars within those years! But man, that really is a great looking car.
Really enjoyed how you lowered the music volume at certain moments so viewers could embrace the roaring exhaust, but still kept it in the background to maintain the very sentimental and retro vibe of the production. Other youtubers REALLY need to take notes from you.
The first Ferrari like this I saw... was into Need For Speed Hot Pursuit (1998) - Wondeful video, fitted well the soundtrack and that yellow Ferrari looks very unique! For some reason, I always felt like the 355 looked like the secret love child of a Ferrari and a Lotus. But it really is all classic Ferrari, and looks outstanding in yellow.
When I was a youngster, like 13-14 yrs old I was in a road movie watching "The Rock" with Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage. My favourite part was the chasing with the F355 (I don't remember if it was a spyder). Before that I had a neighboor at the end of the street with a 348 GTB. I'm living in a village in Hungary with 4000 people together. Can you imagine me as a little voy in this place when I was riding my bycicle and there was a Ferrari? Later when I knew the the guy by our common friends he sold that beauty, then they moved I don't know where. Since then and since I was watching that movie (still one of my favourite) the F355 in this sunburst yellow is my dream car. I don't care what better or faster they made since back then. If I could touch, smell, hear one of these, maybe sit inside as a passenger, I would die happily after. Great video, great sound wish we could have more. Congrats bro!
