Почему он умирает??? Почему нельзя было закончить фильм этим поцелуем? Тогда была бы возможность снять продолжение. Адама Драйвера впервые увидела в этих фильмах. Супер!!! Обязательно посмотрю и другие его работы, чтобы впечатление о нём сложилось правильное.

He had to die for all the evil he had done. But, he gave up his life for her. In some ways that redeemed him enough that the force accepted him when he died.
I don't feel that he had to die, but at least he died doing something good.
@@littlestarfighter He always wanted to live up to his grandfather, Vader, and he did. Vader died saving someone he loved, Luke. It's kind of ironic and poetic that Ben died saving Rey, someone he loved.

I guess in a way, yeah, he ended things the same way Vader did. But I feel like since his mother died to save him and he was never as far gone and truly evil as Vader was, there was still room for him to have survived. Even if he died to save Rey, he should have been resurrected.

Only thing missing is the Solo shrug when he fights the Knights of Ren, otherwise perfect.
Edit: my view is that the lyrics are articulating Ben's perspective, his longing to be loved. No other interpretation would make narrative or emotional sense to me.
