That's not fair. Carly Rey Jepson has been producing songs for years now. Personally, I believe her hit is well deserved. Reverand and the Makers deserve recognition as well.
Rev & the makers don't need all their songs to go mainstream for them to be decent. Many of the best songs aren't. It is the same with many artists. I am a massive Taylor Swift fan but her mainstream songs are my least favourite tracks. The songs that only go noticed by true fans are usually the best ones. This goes for all artists.
