I've really been looking forward to this episode. The reactions from Hinata to seeing Japanese culture in this world are one of my favorite parts of early Tensura. They really helped make her one of my favorite characters.

Translations are going to drive me insane this season aren't they? Now they're using the fan translation Seven Days Clergy instead of Seven Luminaries.
Honestly, I think even the episode title, "Saint and Demon Confrontation", is a mistranslation. The book is called "Saint-Monster Confrontation", there are no demons in this episode and this isn't the first time the english sub has translated monster as demon.
I believe they meant demon as Rimuru is a Demon Lord (at least that is what I got from it). It is weird that they called them Luminaries in past episodes then just switched it to "Days." Great episode otherwise.
Don't sleep on the Rosso's they're surprisingly dangerous 💀💀
Right now they are just pulling strings but will they turn out to be a good antagonist for Rimuru? That is what I want to see if it is possible.
Their actions will be the cause of the best arc in novel, honestly they're one of the best written antagonists in the whole story, I can't say much without spoilers but yeah they will play a huge role in the next season and that season is gonna be crazy good.
The crusarders themselves aren't enlightened. Hinata and the 9 other powerful dudes in the meeting in the holy church are the ones who are enlightened.
the 7 day clergy/the 7 luminaries/whatever your subtitles call them are definitely the worst villains in the entire light novel. They were made in order to get the plot to the place where it needed to be for the good stuff. And the good stuff IS coming. But I feel like the execution with the 7 days clergy was a little lazy. I think the author of the light novel got bored of writing them and just wanted to finish their arc quickly.
Thanks for the clarification. I thought they were saying the members under the 9 were also stronger than the average human.
@analyzeitreviews Well, they ARE still trained soldiers. Goblins are normally not strong monsters. The goblins in Tempest are Hobgoblins though, and Shion's unit specifically has very good regeneration. I feel like this was all explained poorly in the anime, not like it is a big deal. The important stuff was explained thoroughly. But it could've been another 2 meeting episodes if they didn't cut some meat 😭
