I will now have to refer to getting ready for bed as being tucked in by the god of the night or other similar variations. Just out of curiosity, did you use the Blue Yeti mic for this? The layering is nice, and the echoing effect somehow makes them seem more like gods - if that makes sense. ^^ It also covers up the bit of the popping. The triggers were calming too. I like that you layered water in a bottle over the waves - some water over water. ^^ They're really fun characters, and they made me laugh a little. You do a great job of shaping them with the banter and some of the strange phrases (such as "watering your human"). I even felt more insulted when being called a pet (and other pet names) by Nox than by Somnus haha. You made some creative changes to the mythology, right? I mean, from my reading at least, Nox is the mother of Somnus, but the brother version of Nox works better for the concept since using a canon brother of Somnus would probably mean the god of Death would be helping us get to sleep hahah. Oh, and this is probably just my inner dad-joke self, but I heard "bro"tege instead of protege. I'm so sorry; I know that's dumb. Anyway~ thank you for another wonderful upload ^^
I did use the blue yeti, yup! I'm still getting used to the distance I have to stay away from it otl I've got a filter for it but it only helps so much. I did make some changes!! Yeah, using Thanatos would have been...... maybe not so relaxing haha, so I made some adjustments! i'm glad they were fun for you, thank you for the compliments!! 💕 haha omg i love dad humor, that's great 👌👌
First off, wow I feel like my entire body is tingling and relaxed. That was amazing!! The way that each voice was echo-y and came in through a different ear was absolutely one of the most wonderful feelings I’ve ever experienced. Second, which is a bonus, the tingles I felt from this video traveled down through my back into my legs! Which is a really great thing because I have chronic knee pain, and this literally tingled the pain away! I’m not sure how, but it did! Usually the pain keeps me up but you (and Nox and Somnus) are some of the only things that help! So thank you from the bottom of my heart. Third, this is now going to be a part of my nightly routine, forever. As someone who is restless and has trouble falling asleep, this works absolute miracles!! I feel like I’ll always have a pleasant sleep after listening to those two. Words can’t describe how amazing of an experience this is. Keep up the amazing work!!! ((Sorry I’m gushing and rambling!))

As someone who is really into Greek Mythology I was so happy to find this and I loved it so much! When I heard "Kronas" and that the implication of his powers we're correct I was so happy! After looking up the names of the brothers, Nox and Somnus I got a little confused. Their godly hood is correct but Nox, or Nyx, is the GODDESS of night. While Somnus is the Roman god of sleep his Greek name being Hypnos and he is Nox's son. I know this is all super nitpicky and doesn't matter but I found it kinda funny. But also mythology, especially Greek, verys so much they're a chance it could be different in a different region of Greece. Still amazing audio even a year later! Keep up the good work!

As someone who is really into Greek Mythology I was so happy to find this and I loved it so much! When I heard "Kronas" and that the implication of his powers we're correct I was so happy! After looking up the names of the brothers, Nox and Somnus I got a little confused. Their godly hood is correct but Nox, or Nyx, is the GODDESS of night. While Somnus is the Roman god of sleep his Greek name being Hypnos and he is Nox's son. I know this is all super nitpicky and doesn't matter but I found it kinda funny. But also mythology, especially Greek, verys so much they're a chance it could be different in a different region of Greece. Still amazing audio even a year later! Keep up the good work!
