Love the Illiyoon cream but my favourite is Pyunkang Yul Intensive repair cream - perfection for dry and dehydrated skin 🥰 Also I avoid anything with Hyaluronic acid as it dries out my skin, so I am thrilled that neither of these two have HA

Agree. Kelly’s reviews are very detailed, well explained and you can actually see the texture of the products. In the world of skin influencers she’s the best. I can’t stand many others and can’t relate to most of them 😂 The good ones are always underrated as everything in life 😉
I will love to hear a full skin care recommendation with products that don’t have HA in them since with my rosacea that’s one of the ingredients my skin can’t handle it; and I just buy Kelly approved products 💗
My faves are: Rovectin face and body cream: i only use mostly for my face) Isntree pha sleeping mask Cosrx snail cream (altho i always use it as emulsion stage, under the aforementioned creams👆) Isntree aqua gel cream (morning) Rovectin lotus cream (morning) - I bought the illyoon ato concentrated cream and was excited bc i like thick ones at night but it clogged my pores which make no sense bc ive used more occlusive creams but my skin was ok😿. It’s soo affordable as well, i rlly want it to work bc i love how it feels on my skin
Thank you for reminding me I have that lotus cream waiting to be tested and summer would be the best time! That's too bad about the illiyoon, you can also use it on your body if that helps you to use it up!
@@KellyDriscoll Uhhhhh the rovectin lotus cream has been on my 'want to try' list for ages .... good to know, that you'll try it out! I fell in love with the Illiyoon Ato cream the first time I used it and am about to open my second one - they last seemingly forever. S Knight, I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you. I had a seemingly unlogical reaction to the Cerave one, which should by all means be fine for my skin but sometimes it makes my skin react. As Kelly mentioned, both are actually great options to use on your body.
After finding Illiyoon, I haven't looked back! It's been good even on summer days when there's less humidity (yes, one of the million things to pay attention to while trying to keep your skin happy). I do need to find a lighter weight moisturizer for the humid days in summer, but I try to limit HA as much as possible so I haven't found it yet. 😊
Loved this! I have been using Illiyoon since you recommended it! I love how thorough you are in all of your videos! When I was just starting my K-Beauty journey, I really relied on your super detailed descriptions of not only the ingredients and what they did for your skin, but how you described the texture! I was never surprised by how it felt on my skin because you described it so well!! I would love to see a top 5 hydrating products or Top 5 essences! Thanks so much for all you put into these! :-)
I found you because I LOVE the Illiyoon ATO Ceramide for my dry skin, and no one I followed even knew about it. It's so amazing, but for the price point, it's even moreso!!
FYI, in response to customer demand, Cerave has now removed all parabens and other "dirty" ingredients from their products. All I can say is I hope the clean beauty engine is happy with the (more) stingy, less moisturizing reformulations. So, happy to have your recommendations. Thx.
Speaking off affordability, I’d love a fav affordable k beauty video, like maybe 2 recs for each category or so, products everyone pretty much would get along with. For example the huge Klairs toner or the huge make P;rem toner are such great value
Thank you Kelly; once again you have provided the most wonderful descriptions! I haven't tried the Illiyoon cream, but the lotion is terrific. My favorite creams (so far) for my dry, sensitive skin are the Rovectin Clean Lotus Water Cream for summer and Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Facial Cream.
do you use the illiyoon lotion on your face? their well-aging version (pink/red bottle) has some amazing ingredients and I'm thinking about getting that one for my face. it's not ATO cream though.
I wanna order the Torriden - CELLMAZING Centella Lotion 200ml from yesstyle. It has 50% centella and other extracts, ceramide, niacinamide, beta glucan, polyglutamic acid, arbutin, the 4 centella components, macademia oil etc... I only wish it would have cholesterol and peptides, too. It is fragrance free
My go to and only repurchase moisturizer has been Oat So Simple by Krave Beauty. It's absolutely beautiful and simple and just enough hydration for my oily, dehydrated combo skin! I currently have the Rovectin Lotus Water Cream and the Dear Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream in my Yesstyle basket waiting for purchase!
This video was sooo good 😍 You were the one who recommended the Pyankang Yul Ato Cream to me, and now it’s one of my go-tos! I would love to see a top 5 moisturising toners/essences, and if you would point out which ones are cruelty-free or not that would be super helpful too 💖

Getting into Snail 🐌❤ Really enjoy the black Snail cream from IUNIK...as well as their Propolis serum. Top 5 Snail products or faves from IUNIK would be great!😊
You're convincing me to try out Illyoon the next time I do a skincare haul for my moisturizer. I'm also debating on the Axis Y Cera Heart cream. I just broke into my Klairs water gel cream and love the burst of hydration every time. Can't wait to see your next top 5 in this series, Kelly!
I just started using the CeraVe cream about a month ago because I damaged my skin barrier (too many actives at once🤦🏾). My skin is combo but more on the oily side but after the damage it was SO DRY! I used the cream along with the Cosrx Cica line and that combo was amazing! Now the CeraVe cream is my go-to night moisturizer!
I damaged my skin last week too because I over exfoliated thinking it would fix the acne spot I just got. Big mistake! I ordered the purito but by the time it arrived my cheeks healed up. It was so flakey like light sandpaper! It felt as if no moisturizer helped but I guess they did after using it regularly.
I have prone to dehydration, combination skin with slightly oily t-zone (much less oily now that I've been using tretinion for nearly 1.5 years) and dry cheeks. I love Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream, it's sooo good but more like a night cream for me (or day cream in winter)! There's another product I love just as much and it's Klairs All Over Lotion. A bit more expensive but for 200ml that you're getting it's well worth it. It's amazing as a facial cream👌. It's lighter than Illiyoon, hence the name "lotion". I used it mostly in the morning, just before my SPF when I like just a bit of moisture. I actually don't have it at the moment, I used it up with my daughter (11y) who really liked it too but I miss it, I need to buy it again soon😍.
The Cosrx Moisture Power Enriched Cream is one of my all time favs! Normally coconut oil breaks me out but they formulated it very well and I haven't had an issues. I've been wanting to try the Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream for forever but haven't gotten around to it yet. I actually just ordered the Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Gel Cream and I'm really excited to try it! I'd love to see a Top 5 water based cleansers!
Your top 5 videos are the best! I'm amazed at your ability to describe the various products...you're pretty spot on! All of your recommendations are great! Thanks Kelly for your dedication in making these detailed videos! :)
Love the illiyoon moisturiser and fantastic for my dry skin in the winter months. I also love the I’m from rice cream. I also like the Soon Jung hydro gel moisturiser and purito centella recovery cream
Cerave reformulated their products and a lot of people have been experiencing burning when using the new formula. Have you experienced this with the reformulated cerave cream?
I’ve repurchased the Klairs several times! I love that it’s jelly-like, but feels like it’s keeping me hydrated. I just wish it came in a pump or tube! The Purito water gel cream is another OG for me 👏🏻
As someone with dry skin, my top moisturizers are: - Holika Holika Good Cera Super Ceramide cream: my go-to moisturizer at night (shocking that I never see anyone talk about it, it's fantastic!) - Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream (the perfume-free one): my go-to moisturizer in summer because it works super well under make-up - Pyunkang Yul Ato Cream Blue Label: used this last winter and fell in love, definitely going back to it this winter - La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5: I usually just use this in areas where I need it but sometimes my skin just needs proper healing and I absolutely love this stuff for it Once I finish up one of the thicker creams, I'm definitely testing the Illiyoon one, as well as the I'm From Rice Cream - I already got both of them here, didn't open them yet. Super curious to find out if I enjoy them!
@@kathleenwarner4046 It definitely has a smell that is more cosmetic than skincare without any fragrance components. However, as someone with sensitive skin, I absolutely never had any issues with it. I definitely had reactions to perfumed products before, so I usually watch out for it and avoid it, but I think the soothing and caring ingredients in the formula vastly outweigh any amount of possibly harmful ones. Obviously people have different skin, but one can't always jump to conclusions based on the ingredients. I just grabbed this on a whim to get free shipping and thought I can just use it on my body if it doesn't work on my face, but my face LOVES it!
top 5 cleansers and first cleansers! Kelly, have you tried the pyunkang yul deep cleansing oil? It's supposed to be a dupe for the isntree one! Sadly, I wasn't able to try the isntree one before it was discontinued, but I recently bought the pyunkang yul one and have been loving it! It's really light, and I think you would enjoy it.
No one explains products like you!!! Great video! I have only tried the cerave one so thinking about giving the other ones a try...but I'll wait for the perfect timing to do so. Sending lots of love from Spain!! 😘😘😘
I got the Cosrx B-5 Panthenol cream a couple of months back after you talked about it in a video, and... I LOVE IT!! I have dry skin and for the spring/summer it has worked great (I wonder how it will be during winter). I also love mixing it with Stratiia liquid gold for tretinoin nights! I also highly recommend the Barr Centella Calming Barrier Cream... I am IN LOVE! Depending on what my skin needs, I pick from those two!
The other great thing about the illiyoon is that it feels very hydrating! For the simple/basic style moisturizer it has such a lovely texture and it has a super hydrating feeling after application. Comparing it to CeraVe it does a better job at hydrating and feeling fresh and doesn't have that heavier thick feeling
Thanks for your recommendations! I personally love the Klairs fundamental Watery Gel Cream. And totally agree that the experience with the texture is one of the most important factors that I choose my creams. I love to use the Klairs gel cream as my morning moisturizer. I am very interested in the CoxRx B5 cream too.
Klairs fundamental water gel cream was a game changer for me, specially in hot weather, I love it! My only complain is the texture istg 🙇🏾♀️ I wish it came in a pump. Please do top 5 japanese/korean/american/european sunscreens, we'd love to see it✨❤️
I get what you say about Klairs and I agree but I confess having dry skin Klairs is just not enough for me. I am using I'm From's vitamin tree gel instead and that is so much more moisturising for me. It also depends on the toners u use under the moisturiser I guess... in the summertime I just put sk2 + gel + spf and I am done, so it could be that. I have to try the Balancium cream!
The CeraVe moisturising cream is absolutely amazing! It is my go-to moisturiser, ESPECIALLY after using an AHA/BHA or retinols. As soon as you put on the cream, it also creates a nice matte/satin film over your face
Why oh why do so many creams have oils in them???? My skin leans more on the dry side yet is acne prone, and oils are a no go 😢 looks like it'll be just CeraVe for while.
Awesome Review. Which one would you recommend for combo sensitive skin? Im a bit worried because i fight with pimples and Blackheads and i dont want to clog my pores too much :/
I have a few back-up of the illiyoon and I love it, but I think I might give the Cerave a try because it’s way easier to get. Furthermore my country’s IRS has decided to put a weight tax on all packages shipped from outside the EU and I’m shuddering at what they could make me pay for a 50€ yesstyle package full of skincare, that’s got to get pretty heavy. ETA: I have a similar skintype to you, combo, dehydrated… and I use physical spf which I know isn’t your favourite but organic filters are touch and go for me (eye burning, rashes, stinging…) and I’ve found that even if I mix a few drops of facial oil with the illiyoon moisturiser it still absorbs really well and I don’t look like a lightbulb.
KELLYY !! wheres Dear Klairs Blue night calming cream ??? hehe😍😁 . its the best honestly . you convinced me of trying Klairs water fundamental gel , it has a similar texture of Isntree green tea emulsion 😍 , .. also Iunik centella calming gel would be my number 2 fav moisturizer after klairs 😍
Kelly, I find the Cerave hard to work with as a layer under makeup (night times is fine). The illyoon has a far more elegant, primer like under makeup/sunscreen
Hey Kelly! I love love the Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask but just want to try something new. The texture and absorbency is perfection 😘 would the Illyoon or Panthenol be closer to it or suggest a different one?
@@eugene9327 it’s currently winter where I am. So I can easily use it morning and evening. However in summer I’ll keep it as a nighttime moisturizer as our summer is very hot and humid.
Also does the Klairs watery gel have ceramides in them? I didn't think they did but I am on a serious hunt for a moisturizer that has ceramides AND peptides. I know Purito has the centella serum that offers both. Please let me know if you know of a moisturizer that has both. Thanks Kelly!
@@AraG05 Oh yeah I love that moisturizer. I tend to use it during the winter months though. I feel like there aren't any others in the market besides ATO blue label cream tho
You may be right! Outside of K beauty, I think only Paula's Choice might have some stuff with both of those ingredients. Their products usually have lots of amazing ingredients in them. Also, I love the Purito serum that you mentioned in your first comment, probably one of my holy grails!
@@AraG05 I've looked at some of the Paula's Choice products but haven't found them in any; I will take a gander again. And the Purito serum is definitely a holy grail. I hope that companies start to incorporate ceramides and peptides into a moisturizer soon. I am actually surprised there isn't a whole category for the dynamic duo!
I don't have issues with it but since comedogenity is so individual and formulation can play a role in that it's impossible to know if it would be the same for you.
Kelly I can't help but admire your eyebrows everytime I watch your videos they are so beautiful sorry if that sounds odd. I personally have thin and sparse brows so peoples eyebrows become the focus of my attention sometimes 😅
I have an oily acne prone skin , n I still haven't found the right moisturizer just yet. I'm looking for a light daytime moisturizer that wouldn't leave my skin shiny yet calming. Anyway, these are a good recommendation for me to try on. Thank you.
Love your content as always... Keep up the good work dear... I'm using etude house soon Jung emulsion and it is wonderful ...I have combination acne prone sensitive skin and it just fits well for my skin... I also use cosrx green tea aqua soothing gel moisturizer in daytime when I don't want much for my skin... It soothes and calms down my heated skin.... I'm scared to try something with ceramides cholesterol and fatty acids as it might be too much for my combination skin and may clog pores..Though bioderma autoderm intensive baume has been my winter saviour when my skin becomes a little dry and when I use retinol it moisturises my skin so well without being sticky or heavy and cherry on the cake is that it contains a blend of ceramides cholesterol and fatty acids, fragrance free..... Thanks
Have you tried the illiyoon total aging care lotion? it has similar ingredients with more focus on well aging. I'm thinking about using that one on my face. my skin is 'normal' 32yo -get dehydrated if I overuse actives- skin.
Hi Kelly! I have combo skin and in winter it gets drier in certain areas with a tendency to develop eczema in the forehead, I live in north sweden where temperatures get really freezing, my question is: being in such challenging and also super dry environment, you recommend using in the mornings the illyoon or the panthenol one, knowing that I have combo skin and also that I see the panthenol cream from cosrx has H.A which I don't know how convenient is for this type of dry weather. Thank you so much.
Usually in winter I don't go lighter in the morning (I live in Wisconsin, so no stranger to harsh winters). I personally use Illiyoon AM and PM in winter. The panthenol cream works best for my skin in more moderate spring and fall.
loved your video!! Id really like to hear your opinion on other products that have hit the market such as the by wishtrend pro-biome balance cream as well as a full review of the axis-y line. Thank youu
I bought illiyoon ceramide cream 5 days ago and yesterday after i applied it on my face, there are rashes that appeared on the cheeks around my nose. Does anyone know what's the cause of the irritation? It's my first time to use ceramide and this one is marketed to people with sensitive skin so i'm wondering what goes wrong.
I just noticed on yesstyle I'm From now have a fragrance free serum that looks amazing. Please review !!I'm from Vitamin Fruit Serum Pleeeeeeease!!! Has vitamin c and sea buckthorne extract and oil aswell , adenosine, niacinamide , beta glucan. Tumeric root extract and other goodies
I didn't like the illiyoon AT ALL. I really don't understand why so many people like it. It's not that elegant and also not that moisturizing. Will never repurchase. Different products work for different people.
I find the Cosrx Moisture Power Cream super sticky. I haven't found my perfect moisturizer yet. I don't mind the Illiyoon, but it's not perfect. I need a bit more nourishment.
Suggest me a serum that will help to diminish my pustule hormonal acne, large pores, redness, sensitivity & also suggest another serum for reducing my acne spot hyper pigmentation.. I've oily to combination sensitive acne prone skin

I've reviewed the rescue balm before, it was an April fave! I also like their pimple patches and have talked about those too, also have covered their cleanser, toner and moisturizer. I haven't tried the lightening wand or the new spf yet.

Gave myself a lovely chemical burn last night. I’m afraid to wash my face and I need to because it’s covered in healing ointment and neosporin and I went To The gym. What would you use to wash with?

- Pyunkang Yul Ato Cream Blue Label: used this last winter and fell in love, definitely going back to it this winter
- La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5: I usually just use this in areas where I need it but sometimes my skin just needs proper healing and I absolutely love this stuff for it
Once I finish up one of the thicker creams, I'm definitely testing the Illiyoon one, as well as the I'm From Rice Cream - I already got both of them here, didn't open them yet. Super curious to find out if I enjoy them!
I see the Holika cream has citrus; is it noticeable? Intriguing product. Thanks
@@Minale__ Thanks so much! I look forward to trying it out.
Illiyoon is my fave by far! I also like PKY intensive cream
PKY has a ceramide cream was so close to making this list, really good stuff!!
2 out of 5 for me,! Love Illiyoon and Klairs Water cream , Both from your recommendation! Thanks Kelly
top 5 cleansers and first cleansers!
Oh interesting, thanks for the suggestion because I'll need cleansing oil soonish and wasn't sure what to try next!
No one explains products like you!!! Great video! I have only tried the cerave one so thinking about giving the other ones a try...but I'll wait for the perfect timing to do so. Sending lots of love from Spain!! 😘😘😘
Thank you, really happy to be able to help!
kelly you are the BEST!
Hi Kelly,
Would love to see videos on your Top 5 products with less than 10 ingredients & your Top 5 drugstore/affordable skincare products. Thanks!
Depending on what my skin needs, I pick from those two!
yaasssss... it's what i always wait everyday... kelly's top five!
That was my experience also. There is definitely something special about the Illiyoon!!
i ordered the ilyoon moisturizer and it was delivered today! So excited to start using it!
Please do top 5 japanese/korean/american/european sunscreens, we'd love to see it✨❤️
Mine was sooo oily idk if i got a bad one
My skin is exactly like yours. Thanks to you I got products that I love. 😊 Thank you! 🤩
So happy to help!! 💖
New shopping list! 😆
Waiting for the TOP 5 cleansing oils/balms excitedly ☺️
The CeraVe moisturising cream is absolutely amazing! It is my go-to moisturiser, ESPECIALLY after using an AHA/BHA or retinols. As soon as you put on the cream, it also creates a nice matte/satin film over your face
Always love your contents ! And your explanation! I can see your passion 🥰 . Keeep growing kelly xoxo
Why oh why do so many creams have oils in them???? My skin leans more on the dry side yet is acne prone, and oils are a no go 😢 looks like it'll be just CeraVe for while.
Awesome Review. Which one would you recommend for combo sensitive skin? Im a bit worried because i fight with pimples and Blackheads and i dont want to clog my pores too much :/
Hi!! Also a huge Illiyoon fan here 😍 could you do a top 5 for serums for oily skin?
Are you talking about Cerave Cream or Cerave PM Moisturizing Lotion? The PM is much lighter and can be used during the day.
Hello definitely do top 5 hydrating serum’s!
I ordered Illiyoon Ceramide 2 years ago based on your recommendation. I am my 2nd tube.use the gel version for the summer.
Hey Kelly! I love love the Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask but just want to try something new. The texture and absorbency is perfection 😘 would the Illyoon or Panthenol be closer to it or suggest a different one?
After Illiyoon I can’t see myself trying any others 😬😍
Any review on the gel version?
It's so good, I know what you mean about not switching! I haven't tried the gel version yet.
Right, same here. Thinking of trying the Pyunkang Yul blue ato one that Kelly also recommends often
May i ask what is your skin time and you use it morning or night?
@@eugene9327 it’s currently winter where I am. So I can easily use it morning and evening. However in summer I’ll keep it as a nighttime moisturizer as our summer is very hot and humid.
@@natsl3049 hiiii!! Thank youuu!!! What is yourr summer morning moisturizerr? Are yoh have oily dehydrated ?✌🏽
I used cerave cream and mixed it with the neutrogena body oil and applied on my body.. totally saved my skin dryness..
The Pyunkang Yul Ato Blue Label cream has both! It would suit drier skin types.
Drmtlgy Peptide Night cream & Cerave Skin Renewing Night Cream contains peptides and ceramides.
Top 5 cleansing balms!
Or cleansing oils/1st cleansers
Thanks! I want to try several of these now!! 💗💗
Kelly, have you found the coconut oil in the Cosrx cream to cause any issues with breakouts or clogged pores? I tend to break out from coconut oil.
Right, that's what I want to know too, since the coconut oil is like 4th on the ingredients list 😳
Awww thank you! ❤🙏
Thanks
could you talk about silicone-free skincare/moisturizers?
Have you check on Heimish watermelon soothing moisture gel cream? It seems good and already in 110ml per tub 🤔
Think we may need a Vitamin C edition from Kells, or Light exfoliators for Sensitive skin, or a Peptides edition 🤔
loved your video!!
What do you think of the cerave reformulation? Cerave has started stinging my skin
Same here. A lot more stingy and somehow not as rich...
You should try the Aveeno eczema therapy cream! I don’t even have eczema but it’s still changed my life lol
You might like Drmtlgy’s Soothe & Recovery Cream.
P.S. thanks for comparing Illiyoon with Cerave. I’ll pass on Illiyoon.
Try the Pyunkang Yul Blue Ato (or intensive cream I forgot the exact name). Kelly recommended it on another video
@@lonerebeI I did and didn't like it. It wasn't hydrating or nourishing enough and it sat on top of my skin instead of sinking in.
@@cjaneg97 Oh wow, thanks for that info!
Suggest me a serum that will help to diminish my pustule hormonal acne, large pores, redness, sensitivity & also suggest another serum for reducing my acne spot hyper pigmentation.. I've oily to combination sensitive acne prone skin
You may want to try something with mugwort or the wishtrend Propolis.
Hey Kelly, 👋 please review hero costmetics brand 🙏 they do have sunscreen with green tint to tackle face redness ( mineral sunscreen) , their pimples patches , lightening wand and rescue balm are the top sellers , i need yr opinion on this brand before purchasing
I've reviewed the rescue balm before, it was an April fave! I also like their pimple patches and have talked about those too, also have covered their cleanser, toner and moisturizer. I haven't tried the lightening wand or the new spf yet.
Never have heard of any of these except cerave
Great video 👍🏻
Hi Kelly! I was wondering, how can I go about sending you skincare products from my handmade skincare line? I would be honored to have your feedback. No strings!! I have learned a lot from you and have made many formulation decisions based on things you have said over the years. Thank you. ❤️
Please, rewie the paulas choice electrolytes, i think you gonna like it❤
Gave myself a lovely chemical burn last night. I’m afraid to wash my face and I need to because it’s covered in healing ointment and neosporin and I went
To
The gym. What would you use to wash with?
Something milky. Like the La Roche Posay gentle one.
@@RachelDee ok cool. That’s what I have
Top 5 Serum
Does this have seed oils in it ? I dont like seed oils. Can anyone recommend a heavy cream that has no essential oils/fragrance nor seed oils in it and works for acne prone skin !!!
Top 5 5% niacinamide serum please 😍😍
Can you do a video for top 5 toners pls? Thanks you
already did! ua-cam.com/video/yyuDWc0kypA/v-deo.html
I really lovee how u described the textures of the products!! 🤍 It felt like I actually knew the textures😁 And I like how u recommend for different skin types realllyyy helpful!💞Im kinda convinced to get the klairs one 👌🏻 Can u make a video on how u try new products on ur sensitive skin? Oh that's a good idea, thank you!
@@KellyDriscoll Thank you too! Love watching all your videos! :))
Top 5 serums pls
Do you have a vegan and cruelty free alternative for the illiyoon?
In my opinion, its not as good, but look into the Ceramedx line.
@@RachelDee Thank you:)
@@RachelDee I tried the ceramedx restoring body lotion on my face because it has a good ingredients list unfortunately it caused tremendous irritation around my mouth, but it’s great on the body though. I can’t use the cream from this line either as it has a fragrance or essential oil component .
