Idk maybe I'm just blinded by my love for it in BRO, but I've found Fallaji Archeologist to be pretty good, actually, albeit in the right deck. But I think I'm a bit higher up on UB control than y'all. If you have lots of removal, a few top end planeswalkers, and some possessed skaabs for recursion of any good creatures you may have binned, or to replay spells, it gets you stuff often enough to be good. And even as it a 1/4 it can wall off some aggro decks for long enough to build some board pressence, I've chosen that mode when I could take a spell because it was right. It should also be good with the spells bonus sheet and can even grab pure enchantments (like white removal for the devotion sheet. But by all means keep passing them and all the good UB cards to me!
I had a really rough run with gates, going like 3-12 over 4 drafts 😅 spme variance for sure but its gotten better and the big thing for me was learning that just because youve got 9-12 gates does Not mean that your mana can support dreadbore and azorius charm and etc. Without Pilgrims eye, briefcase and the district guide thingy: they are all super important still. Maybe thats super obvious but i dont have as much multicolor experience as others might and it was a really helpful lesson :) format is so fun and worth the bleed in gems for me!
It’ll be interesting to see what the format looks like with the devotion bonus sheet. Maybe more streamlined decks will be able to get under the value piles
Oh, 28:49 is a fairly weak pack? That explains things, that's loads better than anything ive seen across my whopping two drafts. But helps explain why my only win is my opponent conceding for no reason. Dont think I'm interested in doing any more pioneer masters. You also mentioned 6 or 7 good cards in a single pack and I was shocked since I think that's more good cards than I've seen in an entire draft.
Ben’s frozen face is *chefs kiss*
ha glad you enjoyed!

i hope so!
The best blue deck is grixis. Dreadbores and skaabs is a game plan.
true!
