I’m not directly impacted by this program ending but after years of this housing rollercoaster, your message about giving oneself a break toward the end of the video really resonated with me. Thanks as always, Kyle!
Wow, thank you!
I felt the exact same way!
Dream for all but me.
No wonder my lender hasn't called me back 🤣
Thanks Kyle! Ive watched your videos and it helped me close on my house back in 2021. I still like watching your videos! Always knowledgeable and helpful.
Awesome!! Thanks for still watching :)
It lasted 2 weeks lol, i knew this plan was a joke. Reality is that it only helped high earners and not "ALL" as the plan was named. Because even those that have a regular income cant afford the payments therefore would not qualify for a loan even if the down payment was paid for them. The only ones that benefited are those making over 100k a year who should have been able to qualify in the first place. These plans never help those they claim to help. Just let the market dictate where prices go and stop coming up with these gimmicks that only help the already wealthy.
Wow this is so sad but true 😢
Yes I always viewed this as a CAL HFA joke just to profit off highly inflated appreciation. This was never meant for those desperate for a home.
@@ebadrahman3 exactly. I said this in other videos. I noticed it's mortgage brokers promoting it even though it was obviously a joke of a program. The only people it helps are those that would have bought anyways.
Somewhat true but i got in and I made 85k last year. I was well prepared and got in a little behind but still in. Just locked in my rates this morning. I'm good
@@ebadrahman3 well duh. What business does a broke person got being in buying a house? If you don't have at least 30k in your bank, don't bother using this program
Thanks for validating the “I AM GOING TO LOSE IT!” Home buying in CA is 🥴
Thnx man yeah this program ending freaking deflated me and my family!!! Your awesome
Thank you so much Kyle, super helpful as always!! 🙏 ❤
Thank you!
You're welcome! Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with or if you'd like to schedule a free home loan consult. 😊👍
You're welcome! Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with or if you'd like to schedule a free home loan consult. 😊👍
All the money is gone and it just left a wake of furthering highly inflated home values in CA. The only ones excited are the lottery winners who got the loans and the brokers and agents!
yes, 2000 homes bought using this program ACROSS ALL CALIFORNIA - a state that does 20K homes sales A MONTH. sure, that’ll move the needle. lol
I’m a lil sad about this. We were going into ESCROW TODAY and then got the call that it’s over. Great video though, it’s time for a breather.
I'm sorry. Just be ready for when it opens up again. I'm not that bummed about it. I wasn't too sure it was the right time anyway. In the meantime, I'll prepare more mentally and emotionally so I'm beyond ready when opportunity knocks again.

Take time man, this whole experience and just the past few years have been exhausting. Program will come again soon enough. Best of luck!
Hello, I recently watched a short video you made talkin about temporarily holding on an FHA loan and afterwards considering refinancing you describe it a bridge can you please speak into that in-depth. Thank you.
"Pause the Dream" is literally the American motto now 🙃
Not to worry Cali friends. It will be funded again and probably with more money. It wasn't our time yet, but when it is our time, everything will fall into place
RIP taxpayers
Some of my clients agreed with the payment But I felt kinda bad, they were going from $1800 rent to a $4,900 mortgage. This program helped secure the property & lowered the monthly but that payment is still a lot of quiche!
They will refill the funds in the near future - the new budget in CA occurs in July. I suggest those interested in the program plan for when more funding is added and be ready to move. We just happened to be buying already and looking at homes for a month before and were able to find the right home the weekend before the program opened.
Congratulations! What area are you buying in? We’re ready to buy but haven’t been able to find anything affordable. This was going to be a way for us to afford more home. I’m so disappointed as I took the classes and was just waiting for the counseling portion later this month. 😢
@@wanderlustmusing4433 Yeah Cali home prices are brutal. I found quite a few places, but I REALLY didn't want to do a 2 hour commute each way every day. That freaked me out.
@@wanderlustmusing4433 we bought in Sacramento. We did go above our original budget by 50k, but with the program it kept the monthly payment the same. We got lucky, right house, aggressive offer, good realtor and lender is family. She did take convincing to use this program but now sees sellers don’t mind.
@@TheVerbalAssassinFAFO I understand. I use to commute from Sac to SF. It was brutal mind and body. So glad I work closer to home now.
@@heatherwilliams5090 I’m looking in the Sacramento area too. Would you be willing to let me know who your realtor is? Thx.
😭😭😭😭 my jesus how frustrated impotent i feel i being crying since yesterday's we were so prepared and now no founds 😭😭😭😭
Same 😭😭😭

Keep your head up! Other opportunities will come around, best of everything.
@@cyrusm3391 🙏🤗
OMG your feelings are so valid! 😂
Does this have to do with the BOA Down Payment Grant Assistance?
No they are different programs
You gotta pay the 20% back and you gotta pay an additional 20% , hope the home you pick doesn’t lose value
On a long term, real estate always appraise upwards.
Is it possible to add an additional $X amount of down payment while receiving the program's down payment amount?
I just recorded a personal video reply for you: vid.us/21oce6
@@WinTheHouseYouLove Thank you for answering!
Wow and I just finished the course... $100 dollars wasted.
It will be valid when there is new funding in the near future. Keep preparing and planning for that so you can jump on things.
Same. I'm almost done with the course as well. Bummer...
I never even got that far! My lender was sooooo slow!
As someone who also took the course, there were some new knowledge that will be helpful in the future. It's not an entirely wasted money.
@@cyrusm3391 yeah it's good knowledge learned.
What are the rates on the program? Who sets the rate?
www.calhfa.ca.gov/apps/rates/
@Cristian Leal GEESH!
Lol can't say im surprised 😂
This is crazy they should have had lower income limits. I think it help middle upper class
The only problem with lower income limits is that people with lower incomes wouldn't be able to afford the home prices in CA
@@WinTheHouseYouLove but i thought that's the entire point of these programs? Why name it "dream for ALL" when it's only helping the wealthier people. These programs are just gimmicks since the problem is homes are too expensive in California. Those that used the program are people that would have qualified for a home anyways but with a lower down payment. All the program did was help those that would have bought anyways have a lower monthly payment.
