Yeah but if it's meant to use long distance why does it cost health, wouldn't you not have to worry about health anyway if your target isn't even close to you
@@ImR3DACT3Dwouldn’t you want to use it far? I mean if you use it up close you’ll fire it and lose health then probably get hit by your enemy and take more damage potentially dying so wouldn’t you wanna use it far so you could heal back the damage?
I didn't put it into the vid, but I mentioned at one point that BoA would genuinely be a good enchantment if there was a boss in the game that took extra damage from it. Like literally all it needs to go from F to A tier is a boss that it's super effective against.
Bedrock edition shields already do what the repulsion enchantment does... by default. Also, the brimstone enchant was probably meant for long-range attacks.
Fr, brimstone would actually be cool. The health drain is a great way to ensure the beam isn't spammed. Game changing that basically adds a sniper to the game.
I think if they do eventually update the end, a bug theme would work perfectly. It’s alien and weird, and you could litter the dimension with powerful arthropods, making bane somewhat useless at the start, but then a must-have in a dimension that’s basically exclusively arthropods
Lifesteal is the core mechanics of many other combat focus games to encourage risk. For example, in Hollow Knight you get soul which you can heal with by attacking with a melee hit only. Maybe the lifesteal enchant world only work with swords and axes.
3:15 is the most broken one of all, all you need to do is load up multiple crossbows and have to instant healing splash potions and will the right manuevor, anyone will die
If you would like a reason why the wither and ender dragon didn’t freeze is because they have a death animation. This would nullify the freeze animation
brimstone is armor piercing which is why it has low damage, it would be unfair for someone who has prot 4 netherite armor to die instantly because their armor didnt work
brimstone is actually good, even though it takes a lot of health to fire and dosent deal absurd amounts of damage, it peirces armour so it gets stronger the more defence that your enemy has
I'm so used to terraria that when u said that was going to test frostbite with all the bosses I forget that was watching a Minecraft video and thought "this is going to take an eternity" lol Great video
Yes, technically in game only the ender dragon and wither are considered "bosses", however the ender dragon, wither, warden, and elder guardian are powerful enough that people consider them all bosses for the sake of challenges and such.
im pretty sure shields knocking mobs back is a built-in feature of bedrock, also shields in bedrock bounce arrows back at your enemy, so you can literally kill a skeleton by holding down your shield in bedrock
It could be yeah, but considering that you need horse armor and an enchantment on said armor, maybe it evens out. Or maybe it just makes the boat useless in which case yeah, that's way too good lmao
They should just float on water instead of sinking when you ride them, and you should be able to put them in boats, this alone would make them way better
The only change I would make to the enchantments is to put a custom texture on it and not have to search by name and maybe more info about the enchantment.
I'd love a glass cannon build without Totems or maybe a rule of only a single one in the inventory (ofc while still having them in shulker/end chest). Playing at 2-3 hearts all the time. But having damage like a God. You just run and gun it until you get hit by a single thing and die. Nothing original on my part, but it will be insanely fun :)
I feel Brimstone isn't an enchantment made for one mob vs one player. But MANY mobs vs one player. And if they have armors as well. Why do you think the Warden Shriek is op? Because it ignores armor. It's like saying Piercing on a Crossbow sucks because it does no extra damage, despite piercing through mobs. Quite a shame you didn't give it more chance in other situation.
I used Bane of Arthropods once, ONCE, and it was for Bedrock's OVERKILL achievement (Deal a shitload of damage to a single mob in a single attack), I did the achievement in 1.13 so no axes or netherite, so bane of arthropods was huge cuz it does like 1.5 extra damage PER LEVEL
I think it would be cool if there was a “Cleaving” enchantment that increased the damage dealt to other mobs by two hearts in return for an extra 0.5 seconds of cooldown before attacking again, kind of like the trade off with an axe over a sword.
Imagine if Curse of Binding could allow you to put two pieces of armor together in the same armor spot, like a chestplate and elytra, but you still couldn’t take it off. What about Curse of Vanishing being completely different, somewhat slowly draining an item’s durability even when idle, but the item can be repaired for free in an anvil and doesn’t necessarily disappear when you die. There would likely be no natural Curse of Vanishing items because even when in a chest the durability wanes, though it can be delayed if the item is combined with wax in a crafting table. If you’re always close to an anvil and always have a supply of the item (like a diamond or iron ingot) needed to keep a tool’s durability up, then this could be quite a good enchantment for saving on enchanting costs.
Enchancement uses a different enchantment method, where you just pick one enchantment to add to your item, so you can't have two unless you edit the config file.
Great enchantments, but watch as we still get Bane of Arthropods and Fire Protection while trying to get these sick enchantments from the enchanting table. If we could have some way of guarenteeing an enchantment we want from the enchanting table, maybe we wouldn't have a mighty need to force so many librarians just so we can have a consistent source of the enchantments we want.
I think part of the problem is that there’s too many useless enchantments. Bane of Arthropods and the specific protections are the main culprit for this and need to be removed or modified. Personally I would fully replace bane of arthropods with a new enchantment called “bane of living”. It would basically be the opposite of smite, doing extra damage to living mobs. This would of course include all the current arthropods, but it would also include mobs like piglins and hoglins, illagers, endermen and animals and villagers. This would make the enchantment useful the mobs it’s effective against are common, like with smite. I would replace fire protection with “elemental protection” which would protect you from both fire a frost damage, but I fear that still wouldn’t be broad enough to make the enchantment worth acquiring. I would heavily nerf the shield so it does block all damage from explosions and projectiles, then give it protectile and blast protection as stackable enchantments.
Hey listen, you can't really hate on curse of binding if you are a massive troll while on a multiplayer server and make another person wear the cursed pumpkin head.
6:56 this is actually how the shield works on Bedrock edition Once a friend of mine lagged and I hit him 5 times so I got flung in the air and died of fall damage
0:16 Bro's a Minecraft veteran and didn't even use that water bucket or golden apple while burning to death with a few hearts remaining in hardcore mode. SMH
Anyone else think Piercing is way too situational on minecraft compared to say BTD6, Terraria, Vampire Survivors, Dead Cells, Brawl Stars, Genshin Impact or even LAUNCHER games like Burrito Bison? I don’t think that enough people talk about pierce in video games, could make an interesting subject by itself
Tbh, i think brimstone actually having the ability to kill you if you charge it too much is kinda bad game design. It should just stop you from charging if you're going to die from the damage.
Complains that the ARMOR PIERCING enchantment doesn't do enough damage to the UNARMORED enemies lol That aside, good video, I like enchancement's enchanting method over vanilla.
Brimstone does not do 6 hearts of damage, it does 60% of the mobs health, which if the mob has 10 hearts is 6 hearts, but if its a warden it has 500 heart and it will do more than 300 hearts of damage
I've tried to form a story with it, but it all ended up feeling forced. Doesn't mean I won't keep trying with future uploads though, I will try my best to make a general story outline into a conclusion in my future streams so they turn into more enjoyable highlight vids :)
