I got a Poco F4 because my Mi 9T Pro broke. I haven't received the phone yet, since I ordered it from AliExpress, but I paid U$360 for the 8GB/256GB version and I am pretty comfortable with my decision. Can't wait to put my hands on the gorgeous 120hz display!
@@stinanikas I had a Mi 9t once but for some reason its motherboard broke and the cost for repair was basically the price of the phone today. I now use a S21 since the price dropped from last year.
It's the length of the updates remaining for the F3 though. For that reason alone you'll probably get 18 months longer of Security updates and another OS for that bit more if you wait until they do another reduction of £50 or more. Its up to its regular prices after early bird deals on the 128 and 256gb.... and get a case at least.
I reckon most people who buys this phone is a gamer but as a gamer who uses a dedicated phone just for gaming, the missing headphone jack is a deal breaker. I honestly have no idea how people who play shooting games like PUBG and COD can play with it because the current Bluetooth technology is not good enough.
Hi. Can anyone honestly say the F4 is better than the F3 front & selfie cameras system in terms of having brighter photos, white balance, dynamic range, sharpness, video stabilization, mic pickup and skin tones?
I'm kinda feeling the square edges n flat surface remind me of a iphone 12pr max feel ,coming from a Poco x3pro which the battery life was so bad I returned it ,the f4 seems like a better phone for my coins
Xiaomi can’t avoid cost increases, and the Redmi K40S/F4 is a cost saving exercise. The main camera sensor is found in the M4 Pro; the glass back is unbranded, while the macro camera is throwaway. The upgrades to the display and charger are fairly minimal. Poco will be hoping the F5 can be the F3’s true replacement, but a 2K display with an 8+ Gen 1 or 8 Gen 2 SoC, won't come cheap.
They'd probably make a dimensity 8100(or any other flagship dimensity processor) model to lower the cost, maybe 50 - 100$ more on the sd 888 or a pro model..
@@user-0null00 Reports indicate the F5 will be a rebadged Redmi K60 Pro with an 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 2K (1440p) AMOLED and 67W charging. The K60E (China only) might use an 870 SoC, but the F5 appears to be based on the higher spec'd K60 Pro.
@@englandcalling9721 Nah in my opinion, giving the f5 the 870 would make it look bad advertisement wise since they'd be making the x5 and x6 too, and they're gonna have to make those with either the dimensity 8100, 8200, or the sd 870(since the x4 gt is at 8100 right now) so the 8 gen 1 makes more sense.. or they could go with the dimensity 9000 idk
@@user-0null00 You misread my comment. The F5 will be a rebadged Redmi K60 Pro and use a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The Redmi K60 range (China only) will have three models, K60 (8 Gen 2) K60 Pro (8+ Gen 1) and K60E (870 or 8200). The F5 will be the only model released globally.
@@englandcalling9721 Yeah my bad, I just didn't follow the redmi k60 parts, you're just comparing them, got it. they already did that with the f3/f4 and k50 so it makes perfect sense. that was my bad.
Apologies - Poco F3 was 4520 not 4250. So that statement was incorrect. The charging speed has increased however.
