This is brilliant. I always have trouble with this cut, and it's because I always try to contour (because that's how I was taught), causing me to always leave a hole around the temples where most men recess. I have pin pointed the problem. Thank you so much! This video was educational, and easy to follow.
Hi I am doing self hair cuts and while trying to cut the top of my head using scissor over comb technique I usually can’t really understand when I reach the point where I should cut according to the previous guideline since I don’t see the point where the guideline is, like it isn’t observable for me . Any tips for this kind of problem? (I would love to see a video going deep into that topic of understanding where the guideline is/ self top cut).
i realize that i cut the part side square but i contour the heavy side so it blends better, should i start cutting it square so theres some to comb back as you mentioned? thnx man
Keep the heavy side square but be careful not to leave a weight line. This is how you get all of the brushed back and side part styles that you are seeing on T.V. and in movies.
Your welcome Greg , A very professional video and you look the part as well , that sends a very positive message to others and it's good for the self esteem .
Don't let a women cut your hair , that's the worst mistake you ll do. Although some women do cut hair pretty good but don't take chances. They think cutting men's hair is easy and quick.
Great advice on over direction to recession and overdirecting forward from cowlick/whorl. GOLD!
Thank You!
