New producer needed. 1. That ridiculous camera angle. Have they ever seen a video of a snooker game? Raise the damn camera. This should’ve been done long ago. 2. If you can’t do a replay in time to get back for the next shot, don’t do the replay. Half a dozen times we missed the following shot because the producer called for the swoopy replay. 3. It must’ve been incredibly distracting for Ronnie and John to play with that loud high-pitched tone going off every 50 seconds. (I timed it.) Why didn’t anybody try to track it down and stop it?

Agree, Ronnie's long potting and break building are unparalleled in the snooker's history, and his ability to play with both hands gives him a further advantage. Having made the world final 8 times, and won 4 of them, John probably ranks somewhere within the top 10 of all time, but I reckon his best years are behind him now.

BUT try to forget that long enough to watch the position shot Ronnie plays while potting the black at 12:40. Stun-run-through to separate two reds while landing on a third red. I've watched it about ten times; it's like a perfect phrase of music. Absolutely illustrates why he's the GOAT.

Two bad miscues on screw back draw shots. Usually caused by tensing up muscles as your cue action gets ready to hit the cue ball. But watching Higgins' second miscue in 1/4 speed. His body moves forward slightly and back elbow raises during the cue action stroke.

Can someone explain how a foul wasn't called when John miscued in the 6th frame? He jumped over the first red of the plant and hit the second red. Four points should've been awarded to Ronnie.
I just looked up the relevant rule and it's actually quite hard to interpret exactly when it's a foul and when not. The rule is written in an oddly ambiguous way, and the referee might have been concerned about where the cueball "landed". But I think you're right, it was probably a foul.
@@johnsrabe Nah, if you watch it carefully the white clears the first red by almost an inch, and that red never moves at all. It's possible that the ref didn't realize what had happened. She's not the best referee I've ever seen -- consistently keeps Ronnie waiting several seconds while she spots the colours, doesn't re-spot the pink accurately when its spot is occupied, generally doesn't inspire confidence. I was wondering if Ronnie might have had a word with someone about her after the match. She's not terrible (there are worse among the British and European referees); just needs to pick up her pace and general alertness a fraction.
