Interesting fact:
Chandler was originally a gay character and they changed him because it was still everything conservative in the 90s.
But also matthew perry said that he was going to be okey with Chandler being gay, and also when someone asked him (or matty leblanc don’t remember), about chandler and Joey being or having a thing the answer was “haha well.. if they show was of this decade… probably a lot of things would have been different”.
That shows that if the writers would have said “okey chandler and joey are going to have a thing”.
Matt and matthew would’ve been completely fine with it 😌.
I love the show just the way it is but man… Joey and chandler as a couple would’ve been really very interesting, like it or not.
