Thank-you for showing us how you construct a pumpulent. That burning yourself is horrid. I think that ice water trick works, it stops the burn from going deeper also. Keeping ice in a thermos a good idea too. The pumpkins on a stick are so cute. It must be fun to design a recipe with all your materials and the dried flowers and broom corn. They are so adorable!

When we were younger my parents and all us kids all sang at church growing up and played music together as a family all the time at home too! my mom plays the piano really good and my brothers and Jes can play guitar! Music has always been such a big part of our lives growing up and still is to this day! Jes writes so many good songs and my mom will say sing me something girls when we go over there! So Jes will get out the guitar and we sing songs to mom! She loves it!!! It’s fun to sing with Jes she’s so good at it!!! 🥰❤️💕🥰

My nurse mother taught me to race to the cold water tap whenever I burned myself and hold the burn under the cold water for 1/2 a minute or so to stop the "cooking" process. Like stopping the cooking in an ice bath when blanching veggies. I still do it and it always stops a blister from developing and no pain. In your green house you could have a freezer pack handy and hold it on the burn, or freeing cold water in a thermos. The pumpulents are so lovely!

Good morning! 🌞 it takes a while! The head’s usually root in about 6 weeks and then it takes them a while to grow and get bigger! Thank you for asking and watching!! I think they like the haircut!!
I think the glue helps them to dry out and callus over and then once they are really dried and calloused they develop roots and they route right into the moss. It’s pretty cool seeing how it works! The glue doesn’t seem to bother or hurt them at all! Thank you very much for watching and asking! 🥰❤️🎃
they are really pretty , i love them for decorations. But dont the little succulents die w the glue on them? I thought you were going to empty to pumpkins and fill w dirt so the plants can grow in their little pumpkin pot. Then when the pumpkin starts to rot the entire thing can be transplanted into a garden pot. I love them so much but i feel bad for the healthy plants being hit w hot glue.
I was feeling the same way last year when we started doing them so before I made them I tested it to see what the hot glue would do to the succulents, so I cut 10 different kinds of succulent heads and hot glued them to a piece of moss and let it sit for a few weeks to see what would happen and they did great, there was no damage at all, and it almost seemed like the glue helped seal, callous and harden over the end part of the succulent and then it started growing roots like three or four weeks later onto the moss and I was shocked! So then I started doing it on the pumpkins because when I tested it, it worked great and there was no harm to them! Thank you for asking and caring about them. I really appreciate that. I thought the same exact way! 🥰

Oh Coco! I feel for you! I've done many a "glue gun" crafts so I know how deadly that glue can be! Send me your address and I'll send you a glue pot that you can use instead of a gun for placing your succulents on your pumpkins. Just place your glue sticks in pot and let them melt and your ready to go!
