A sense of loss related to what exactly? And which 'lost' culture are you referring to? Apart from the fact that commuters don't smoke on tubes anymore (which is abhorrent) and there is a more varied type of people riding the tubes today, it all looks pretty much the same to me. Even down to the Victoria line trains in this film that are still in use today. I cannot see what sort of British culture has been lost... at all!

Likewise, our social and political systems are changing, largely due to technological and medical advances at a pace that we cannot keep up with. The video, quite frankly, is a microcosm of cancerous change upon a society due to unlimited immigration, which, in turn, replaces one society with another.

(judging it from outside; I grew up '80s) A levelling up all round, but seems to have fallen since, a mentality of being more self-absorbed, entitled, inconsiderate /unaware of others, lacking dignity in clothing & eating. UK's over-crowded; too many tank-size cars, too few manners

The tube was very busy then and they used to light up their cigarette right next to you. But there was a guard operating the doors for safety of passengers etc.

No! The 60's was a time of great change for UK. Early 60's most people were poor, by late 60's the economy had improved and the 70's was a much better time for most of UK. Cheaper transport, better food from supermarkets and more things to do. Most people didn't have a holiday out of UK until 70's. Most people hadn't tried any food other than Chinese until 70's. It was still not as great as so many people keep saying, and if you could travel back you wouldn't want to stay.
I might have been one of those, on my way to college -- now 72 but still reasonably fit. Where else could you sit, or more often stand, so near to one of those stunning young ladies? I still miss the Tube!
Looks like North Korea, with fewer people smiling. As someone who was there at the time, the film doesn't put across the pervasive stench of cigarettes and the overall grimy filthiness of the tube in those days.
