How precise the location of 2nd burn initiation has to be? Does it have to be exactly at the oposite side of the 1st burn or there is a room for error?
thanks for detailed video. I am watching it in 2024 rn. can you tell what is the effect of epoch time, i used 23 oct, 2024 date and it shows completely different pattern and no path of sat in 3d window. but when I set epoch time as in vid it showed right. what's cooking there sir
Well, I ran into a problem when saving the script. The default spacecraft dows not have a fuel tank. I had to add the fuel tank as a resource and then assign the tank to the spaceship, though you also seems not having a tank in the Resources folder. I don't know why you had not this problem in the tutorial. Maybe I made something a bit different.
I think, I opened and saved the script in the editor. This way I lost the ability to modify the data in the graphical interface and it seems it also behaved a bit differently and tried to refer to the fuel tank. Now I re-did the whole scenario without opening the script file and everything is OK. Anyhow, now I have the fuel tank attached to the spaceship, so that also changed the environment a bit - though I still used the Impulsive burn and had not checked the "Mass Change" option.
This is great. I'd sure love to see the complete lunar mission trajectory that you teased us with a while ago ;-)
Im waiting for that one either!! :) about Apollo
Great Video! a Type 2 Hohmann Transafer video would be absolutely ideal!
dude, i love this, step 9.5 got me super good. thanks, you had me laughing when you said "9.5, hit that like button". You got it bruv.
Thanks for this video. You are so clear !
Thank you very much for this nice tuto.. It's clear !
Very good video. i hope you will continue, with more difficoult/intresting exemples, im learning to use this program following your videos :)
Thanks so much for this amazing video
Thanks. You are a life saver. Can you please make the type 2 burn as soon as possible?
Great video! Thanks!
Thank you very much, It is such a useful video. Look forward to see more videos in this subject
Great, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Very useful video.😌😌
Glad you think so!

Could you try doing an analysis of gravity assists for more advanced orbital mechanics?

is there an existing script to calculate a Hohmann transfer to mars at a specific landing site or close to one?
how did you know what delta-V values to use, did you calculate it all beforehand?
He must have, and it is a trivial calculation.
Make sure you follow step 9.5 . Very important :)
how to trajected to lunar ?
