Twister didn't quite get the recognition it deserved when it was released, especially by critics. But 25 years later it is clearly loved by many. And still one of thee best natural disaster films.
Alot of the sky footage was filmed in iowa it was stormy when they filmed here at that point in time!!!! Pretty badass I must say!!! I've talked to alot of people around the eldora area where the house at the end of the movie is and the crew n actors stayed in farmers houses to avoid the hotels n people!!!
Yeah, we live in NW Oklahoma and have had storm chasers hanging out in our town waiting on storms to unfold. It's pretty exciting and gives us even more warning that out evening is going to be eventful.
Yeah, they have the stuff spread out over the States. I didn't realize that they filmed in so many places. Figured they could have got all their shots in Oklahoma.

I use to haul drilling rig parts , ive stopped at the 1st Cafe in there , coming in from the south , a few time for breakfast. Nice quiet in the mornings there .

The other truck is in Gatlinburg, Tennessee's Hollywood Star's car museum! I had no Idea until I saw that poster and looked it up.

Yeah that was us!! As soon as we left Wakita after the first video I started ordering Kathy stuff so we could dress her up.
So did you see us? We had several people approach us. We even had one person come up and ask us to take a picture of is for her sister.
