    I apologize Sabrah teacher for missing your premier. As a student of you I believe I was disrespectful. I saw it previous day but missed it because I got engaged with some other activity where I was compelled to see a boring film with my brother. Ironically I was made to see it and my brother held me hostage due to my hatred for that film. Sorry I missed your premiere Sabrah teacher. And this lesson undoubtedly was a more pressure less lesson. Thanks a lot. You and Leila are fabulous teachers and every lesson of both of you have substantially improved my English calibre. Thanks a lot to both of you. Really amazing British English teachers. Britain is also fascinating nation. Thanks a lot Sabrah teacher for this lesson.

    Another useful tip I experimented on myself :reading articles or watching a movie or a video and trying to sum it up soon afterwards . It boosts vocabulary, syntax and grammar. One disadvantage :nobody can listen and help with pronunciation and accent. Better than nothing! Take care🇮🇹💯🇬🇧

    Learn vocabulary in chunks rather than single words. Collocations, expressions, idioms etc all make it easier to access bigger chunks of natural language than having to translate.

    In your bedroom - Verb lists Collocations Lists of adjectives
    Use your lists to make sentences in English!
    1. Turn your home into your English learning zone!
    2. Use all 5 senses as you learn and to help you think in English. What does it smell like? What does it taste like? What does it sound like? How does it feel? What does it look like? Use this: - when you are commuting, - When doing housework, - In the shower, - shopping
    3. Try to start and finish the day by reading or listening to English! (Even if it is only short) This way your brain knows that English is part of your everyday routine and you will be more triggered to think in English. Fun Fact! Your subconscious mind takes up 95% of our brain power! It is absorbing information all the time!
    4. Use your learner style to help you think in English. - Visual learners, - auditory learners, - reading and writing, - kinaesthetic learners. Learner style - This is the way your brain absorbs information best. Auditory learners - Enjoy conversations and interactions, - Podcasts, - Audio visual information. Kinaesthetic learners - Use learning with 5 senses, - move as you learn, - learn with your hands (Matching activities etc). Visual learners - look at English and read in English as much as possible! - Use Instagram/ lists around your home etc.
    5. Learn vocabulary in phrases not single words. Put new vocabulary into phrases and sentences as soon as possible. - Proud, - Gregarious, ‘My Aunt Louisa is gregarious - she loves throwing a party!’. This is particularly important with phrasal verbs, use them as soon as you can! To catch up - To be at the same level as someone else. Have you ever had to catch up? How could you relate This to yourself?
    6. Apply some discipline and resist translation. Google Translate. Make a conscious effort to think in English - it won’t necessarily come naturally.

    Hello there!

  • @yunus8562
    @yunus8562 Рік тому

    But it doesn't seem possible to not go to the transtlate sometimes. Because if I'm trying to tell something, a situation and if I don't go to the translate from my mother tongue to english, I'm making a literal translation in my mind which causes me to select wrong words to express that situation or feeling while there's a perfect expression of that feeling. Let me give you an example: In my language there could be a word that has same meaning with "to hone" and let's say we use the word to express our feeling in my native language. At that point I could make a sentence with the word hone like this: "I'm feeling honed today."
    I hope I explained myself well

    Good advice. But thinking in English have some drawbacks, for instance sometimes I inadvertently use English words when I speak Ukrainian. And when I think regardless of language I unconsciously use both Ukrainian and English. So really my Ukrainian suffer from thinking in English a lot. And I very often can not recall some words in Ukrainian and have to translate them from English to Ukrainian.
