As a person living in india ......though we eat roti naan with our hands but never in my life have i ever eaten rice nor seen anyone here eating rice with hands.....but of course in the south people do eat with their hands ....so you don't need to fret ....just eat how you are comfortable .....it is the same as how people prefer eating noodles with chopsticks and fork ...they eat with whatever cutlery they are comfortable with😊😊😊😊
In south africa there is a curd called 'maas' it translates to sour milk in english. It's very similar to Indian dahi but more sour. So raita is called sour milk chutney in south africa. The name might put people off at first but it's delicious esp in summer time when humidity is 95% here in durban
If I’m not eating it in India imma eat it however I want lol nun wrong with her not wanting to get her hands dirty they had forks there for a reason clearly

Some combination you should try : 1. Biriyani with chicken chaap 2. Polau with handi mutton /mutton kasa 3. Chowmein with chicken manchurian 4. Naan with butter chicken These are my favorite combination of all time ❤️🧡💛

That's great you tried cuisine you've never had before. What you ate is north indian. Since you have tried that I recommend you try south Indian cuisine if you can find a restaurant. There are huge differences. Not one is better than the other just different.

I'm from West Bengal by the way. I would suggest you to try more veg food and other non veg delicacies. Also if you ever try Indian food, I would suggest you to eat with your hands( no hate or offense to your content, it's obviously your wish to eat with cutlery or hands, I myself also eat with spoon , fork, knife sometimes.
