    Some people asked me about the green smoothie, so here it is:
    It's a knock off of the Green Island Smoothie at tropical smoothie cafe... I get most the ingredients at BJs... 1 cup frozen organic greens which is a mix of kale and spinach, 1/2 a frozen banana, and about a cup of frozen tropical fruit (which is a mix of mango, pineapple, peaches and strawberries), fill halfway to the ingredient line with an organic 100% tropical juice (also mango peach pineapple) and fill up the rest of the way with water, add about 6-7 drops of stevia sweetener and blend. It's sooo good!!

      NateLee I saw something like the first hack you showed. But you can put those little bottle brush Christmas trees in boiling water if they get smashed in packing them away and they will straighten back out. Haven't tried it because I haven't smashed any of mine yet. 🤗💕💞

    Another secret to rolling up your tape measure is to replace your drill bit with a bobbie pin. Slide the end of the tape measure into the bobbie pin and then wind slowly.

    Hi NataLee, Thanks for the great video. I used to sell fragrances. When you spray and then rub the scent in, you break down the initial top notes. It is sometimes better to spray and let dry naturally so you can smell the top and then the mid and base notes of the scent.

    Regarding the packing tape hack: the zip tie was too loose and when you clipped it you left way too much of the zip tie, it should've been much shorter. Just a tip

    Fantastic hacks. New hack!! There’s nothing worse than needing room temperature butter or cream cheese for a recipe and not having it available. Thankfully there’s a hack to quickly soften butter or cream cheese to room temperature. Place warm water into a glass and let it sit for a moment. Place the butter or cream cheese on a plate. Empty the glass of water and place upside down over. After a minute or so, you will have softened butter or cream cheese.

    I have a hack, if you’ve put leftover spaghetti in a plastic container and now the container has an orange hue to it, just put water about half way up in the container add a squeeze of Dawn dish soap, and a paper towel, even a used one, put the lid on the container, give it a few shakes and just like magic the container is clear again. This won’t work if you’ve reheated spaghetti in the container. 😊

    • @rgvtexas8391
      @rgvtexas8391 14 днів тому +2

      Line that container with a zip bag first. Never orange again.

      Either use a spray oil, or I use coconut oil on a paper towel to coat the inside the plastic ware, to prevent staining. Unless the item is specifically made for the microwave, I never heat up anything in plastic.

    To clean baseboards I use my vacuum extension with the angle attachment or if really dirty I use comet wipes to clean 1st and then after you can just use vacuum every week when you normally vacuum the house and they will stay clean, mine are painted white so once clean the vacuum works.

      I keep food trash in my freezer until trash day. I save bread bags and other types of bags that food comes in, keeping those in the freezer as well, so when I have something to discard, the bags are handy, and the food/trash item goes into the bag, back into the freezer. Saves on stinky trash, bugs and their nastiness!!!

    I sew and use measuring tape all the time. I never have a problem rolling it with just my hands. Much faster than go get the drill and fiddle with it.
    There are many tips and hacks that work, but they often defeat the purpose by requiring going to get the needed supplies that require more time than just doing the task the good old way. The trick to shake a paint with a saw is absurdly ridiculous!🤣

    • @nuthinbutlove
      @nuthinbutlove 15 днів тому +4

      Wrap a damp towel around a broom and use a rubber band up near where the bristles to connect to hold it in place. Then you can just use your broom to clean the baseboards. I learned this trick in the Air Force to do tile/hard floors. Makes cleaning floors and baseboards easy, picks up dust and works like a charm.
      If you're cleaning floors you can also add some cleaning product to the towel.

    The site Says customers say it does not do well on shag carpets or deeper pile carpets. It gets stuck in the pile.

    Thanks for doing the research & testing so I don't have to. 😂 I might try the furniture pad/scent hack on the litter pan in my guest bedroom/office while I have my daughter's cats sequestered in there. 😊

      Please don’t use essential or fragrance oils in litter boxes, too close and most are toxic to cats. Also, cats are very particular about their boxes so they may avoid them, causing all kinds of nasty problems. There’s scented shakers available at your local supermarket especially for cat litter that actually works. Multiple cat owner speaking🙂🐈‍⬛

      @teresaorton5910 I would not put it in the litter box. I thought I'd put it on the outside, but of course, I won't do anything that would harm my cats, or in this case, my daughter's cats. I could put it on my desk or nearby to freshen the air there. Thanks for the info.

    My ? about the natural oils on the felt pads is how do you add more later? Especially when you put one on a vertical place such as doors and toilet tanks?

      It's so crazy... it's been a couple weeks since I did this hack and the scent is still going strong. Honestly, I haven't had to do it yet, but there were a lot of them in the package so if I can't use a dropper to re-saturate, I will probably pop them off and just use a new one from the package.

    Those are great ideas, i loved the perfume and Vaseline. Now for those small sticky/ glidders that you poured essential oil, was a good idea. But i think for those you in your drawers, how would you add more Essential Oil ? Overall great Hacks.. Thank you 🥰

      I'm thinking a pipette or dropper of some sort or their was so many in that cheap package from the dollar tree, popping them off and replacing with a new one.

    I wouldn’t put petroleum jelly on my skin especially anti-inflammatory put organic Castrol oil instead😊

      I have to ask as I'm genuinely curious, why should you not put petroleum jelly on your skin?

      That's what I noticed, too. They cut it on an angle and only about a 1/4" long.
