Just came back to reminisce on some of the greatest memories I’ve had in gaming, I doubt I’m the only one who got a truly unique experience out of this game. It was so immersive and it’s scarily ideal to see happen in the real world if a drug like Bliss was found to be real. The seed family are some of the greatest villains in fiction.

I like the setting this game seems to be pushing. A cult pushed so far off the rail of religion in the United States. I loved seeing us get involved in foreign affairs and fights in the previous games, but this will hopefully be a refreshing take on Far Cry's formula.

Best Far Cry game so far,for me. I really like the environment and behavior of the people. And also I’d like this quietness and apocalyptic feeling like the walking dead,on top of it, great soundtrack and songs with good plot. Really amazing game and i’d pay more than the actual price for such games. Great work Ubisoft, thanks a lot!
Its set in a remote part in Montana, i live in Texas and people think i ride horses and go to saloons, but in most parts of Texas its like that, you just have never truly breathed in your own culture
This was my personal favorite of the series, just because of the fact that there wasn’t really a good ending to the game. Joesph was right the whole time. None of us excepted it. He even told us “Sometimes its best to just walk away.” Oh yeah, CheeseBurger was in this game too.
This is one of my all time favourite games. If it's just from campaign then it is my favourite game of all time, then far cry new dawn for second. Both great great amazing games love them both. But I do miss cheeseburger :(

No, Ubisoft said that they were getting rid of the radio towers and have you find what you would usually find from radio towers on your own in order to make the game fresh and make your exploration come more naturally then just grinding out radio towers.
Now that the game's out, I can say there's one. The person who gets you to climb the tower assures you it's one off. Sure, you can climb some towers around the map, but the game doesn't tell you to. It also takes maybe 10 seconds to scale one. I've 100%'d it, so I can assure you that's the case. You'd be dumb to miss this one, it's absolutely fantastic.

Hope County is fictional, though it is set in the real state of Montana. In Far Cry 4, Kyrat was fictional, though it was set right next to the real country of Nepal. Although all the previous Far Cry games were set in fictional settings, they clearly were near or in actual locations. Far Cry 1 was set in Micronesia, 2 in Africa, 3 in the Pacific, and 4 near Nepal. The characters' races were all clearly black, asian, etc. Yet there wasn't any controversy around those games being racist. Why is it that as soon as the story is about white people, it's racist and anti-white? The fact that you're fine with the games so long as they insult another race/culture, but make a big deal out of it when it's about your culture, shows that you don't want equal representation at all. Why would they make a game explicitly based on Muslim people when they haven't for any other religion in the previous games? And no, the cult in this game are not Christians just because they are religious and white. They are based on the MANY religious cults that have existed in both the United States and all around the world. So the whole ISIS argument is stupid.
Marco Mair there are always downgrades for every company because that's how game development works, they have a vision and they start crafting that vision and then at some point they realize this isn't going to run good on these consoles if we keep this level of graphics so they're forced to scale it back, it's not that they make it look amazing to trick people because eventually once it gets closer to launch they're going to have to show the downscaled graphics at some point so they're going to get found out either way. These companies aren't stupid, people may not like Ubisoft, but they're actually a very ambitious company

all of the other far cry games have been set in foreign countries (to the US) in order to create a sense of wonder. What this tells me is that, because it is set in a familiar place (america), they are going to heavily rely on a kickass story to pick up the slack. I'm hoping it's the best story yet. Because the context of the times matters. Releasing a game like this _right now_ is the problem. The West and East coasts currently hate everyone who lives between them, a game where you shoot cartoonish stereotypes of Middle Americans is only going to reinforce their hate.

Best Far Cry game so far,for me. I really like the environment and behavior of the people. And also I’d like this quietness and apocalyptic feeling like the walking dead,on top of it, great soundtrack and songs with good plot. Really amazing game and i’d pay more than the actual price for such games. Great work Ubisoft, thanks a lot!

I don't get the controversy around this game I'm a white American Christian and I have no problem with this game and I gladly pat it on the back for showing how disunited our country is with radicals on both sides politically and how stubborn we are to compromise that we go to extremes.
I spent 20 years in a Baptist church. This is obviously a cuckoo cult in this game, if people see these trailers and immediately identify with the group depicted, then they have problems well beyond a video game coming out.
I think people are more annoyed about the double standards of certain groups. Like, the majority don't care about this game because it's just some Christians, but if this game was about some Islamic group, people would go insane.

Pagan was an honest man. The other two "good guy" NPCs, more or less, lied to you till the very end. I especially loved it when at the very start you could just wait for Pagan to do his business while youre tied to the dining chair and he simply lets you leave after a few min.

No, Ubisoft said that they were getting rid of the radio towers and have you find what you would usually find from radio towers on your own in order to make the game fresh and make your exploration come more naturally then just grinding out radio towers.
Now that the game's out, I can say there's one. The person who gets you to climb the tower assures you it's one off. Sure, you can climb some towers around the map, but the game doesn't tell you to. It also takes maybe 10 seconds to scale one. I've 100%'d it, so I can assure you that's the case. You'd be dumb to miss this one, it's absolutely fantastic.
The backwater American feel is a nice change of pace. Can't wait to see how this turns out, Farcry 3 was the last good Farcry game.

Hope County is fictional, though it is set in the real state of Montana. In Far Cry 4, Kyrat was fictional, though it was set right next to the real country of Nepal. Although all the previous Far Cry games were set in fictional settings, they clearly were near or in actual locations. Far Cry 1 was set in Micronesia, 2 in Africa, 3 in the Pacific, and 4 near Nepal. The characters' races were all clearly black, asian, etc. Yet there wasn't any controversy around those games being racist. Why is it that as soon as the story is about white people, it's racist and anti-white? The fact that you're fine with the games so long as they insult another race/culture, but make a big deal out of it when it's about your culture, shows that you don't want equal representation at all.
Why would they make a game explicitly based on Muslim people when they haven't for any other religion in the previous games? And no, the cult in this game are not Christians just because they are religious and white. They are based on the MANY religious cults that have existed in both the United States and all around the world. So the whole ISIS argument is stupid.

Marco Mair there are always downgrades for every company because that's how game development works, they have a vision and they start crafting that vision and then at some point they realize this isn't going to run good on these consoles if we keep this level of graphics so they're forced to scale it back, it's not that they make it look amazing to trick people because eventually once it gets closer to launch they're going to have to show the downscaled graphics at some point so they're going to get found out either way. These companies aren't stupid, people may not like Ubisoft, but they're actually a very ambitious company

all of the other far cry games have been set in foreign countries (to the US) in order to create a sense of wonder. What this tells me is that, because it is set in a familiar place (america), they are going to heavily rely on a kickass story to pick up the slack. I'm hoping it's the best story yet. Not to mention that Montana fits perfectly into their nature/wildlands reoccurring theme
