I love that you are loving these. I have the whole line up and they are all the bomb. Iris Empire, Gold Incense, Gold Myrrh Absolute, Amber Desire, all great.

Solid and informative vid. Herrera’s private line neroli is nice but def leans feminine, due to whit florals (I gave it to my mom). Believe that this line, although advertised as unisex, is more geared for women. There’s a CH store on the UES of NYC (east 75th street) near where I live and I once showed up in jeans and T-shirt and asked whether they sold men’s fragrances. The manager gave me a snooty look and quickly dispatched me to the exit. Guess that’s a no.
Seems sweet and feminine is the route many houses are taking.
Sad how society is trying to gear MEN to buy or seek towards feminine products especially feminine frags....it's quiet evident that society is attempting to convert MEN to be softer or weaker in a sense 🤦🏼♂️

Ok I just ordered the discovery set, which was suprisingly affordable. Apparantly they also do 20ml travel sprays of some of their fragrances 👌🏼
Definitely one I want to test. Nightfall Patchouli sounds interesting as well.
Gold Myrrh Absolute the favorite, along with True Oud more than Oud Couture honestly.
I have most of this line and they are really amazing. This is one of my favorites of the line. I have a decant of Oud couture but probably won’t buy it. Just over Oud. I’m on the fence with Platinum Leather. Just a well crafted line in my opinion.
I've wanted to try Mystery Tobacco for some time now... but I love Mancera Red Tobacco and I don't know if I want to pay the price for the redundancy
I would love to see how you would like Amethyst Haze. It has lavender and coffee and those two notes automatically remind me of Armani Attitude although I bet it's quite different.

I just ordered the whole lineup in decants, had to order from 3 different sites because nobody carries the whole lineup or has all of it in stock looking forward to it.

Company called Fragrance World has clones of all the Carolina Herrera fragrances. Blue Lazuli is the clone of this one. Really nice quality. About £30 in UK. Really like it . Got “ Incense Oro “ clone of Gold Incense and Tobacco Myth is the clone of Mystery Tobacco.

No idea why Ash of all people would buy this instead of Iris Empire as his second of the line.
Anyway, I sampled Saffron Lazuli a couple of years ago and didn't care for it. You have to REALLY love saffron for this one to be bearable. There's an overdose of it.
You love iris so maby give trye Iris Empire - 4,53 score... Bronze Tonka / Amethyst Haze should be interesting.
Many say it smells like side effect? Is this true?

I was recently getting nightfall patchouli, mystery tobacco and others for around 180 USD on duty free, but didn't buy. I am kicking myself right now.
Loved nightfall patchouli but it smelled similar to something I had and after lots of brainstorming picked up that its like One Million Prive.
Though I have Angel's Share and decant of Side effect and have seen people comparing it to that one but one million prive is way more close to it.
Just ordered Iris Empire from this line. Fragrancebuy has some been looking for it for a month now lol

Hi Ash, glad that You made this review. When You made the one of Oud of this privare carrolina, I asked You if You can try this one. I was adviced in Beirut Airport to try it and it blown my mind. What a beautiful fragrance. It is on my list too
It's actually pronounced Laz you lie, it comes from Lapis Lazuli which is why both the box and bottle are blue. I'm not being pedantic Ash, the name is derived from Latin, great review by the way.
Feels like ever since Tom Ford did the private line style, so many designers are following suit. Not sure if doubling down on this idea is good though 😑
A lot of designers made niche lines in their fragrances since like the 80’s, it’s just that almost all of them were duds because they were actually niche and lacked mass appeal to justify not being discontinued. Tom Ford just popularized it by managing to land some absolute hits when he started the line

why do you put your nose right on the sprayed spot? A good perfume should allow you to experience the notes pyramid from a distance, without drawing closer to the perfume

Really disliked this whole line, seems to attempt to replicate existing fragrances and capitalizing on their success, although I don’t think it achieved that considering how little attention it has gotten.
Does anyone know where to buy these in the US? I live in NYC and cannot find it anywhere.
@nun chuck - I can confirm the CH NYC boutiques don’t carry it and you cannot order it on their US website. I finally found Mystery Tobacco at Harrods in London but would like to avoid international shipping.
The CH store at 954 Madison Ave carries the line. Before discounters started carrying them I ordered a couple over the phone from this store.
They are a great line but they are weak
