@@thechafacomet I mean that kinda was the problem star allies didn't do anything special or unique, and people were expecting more for the first kirby game on the switch, and in my opinion the level design was worse than previous kirby games, a lot more simple, it was kinda boring when you compare them to planet robobot. how far another dimension has come in terms of design went from a custom aspect of the normal world with an animated BG to something you'd see deep in space as you rip time apart, creating parallel realities where everything can interact with eachother to where the universe just starts breaking down and ends with the world itself looking like a yellow and purple mess

This is one of the top 3 tracks in the ENTIRE soundtrack. They certainly chose the right song to play for several hours of gameplay, something Star Allies was notorious for NOT doing (just look at the size of this playlist). Playing one super long, elegant medley of final stages series past really set the scene.
3:34 Hearing this part for the first time was absolutely magical. I'm pretty sad there was basically none of that in Forgotten Land. Remixed stage themes, I mean.
To be fair, It really fit with the qorld alien world theme for them to not be any past remixes besides Green Greens in Kirby's house, while still having some songs sound familiar enough
Agreed with the comment above! I think it was on purpose, and ALSO they added two new composers for the soundtrack, Yuuta Ogasawara and Yuki Shimooka, so it explains why a lot of tracks feel very fresh! There ARE a few remixed tracks. The ones on top of my head are the two themes that play in the Forgo Isles world, the first one I recognized the main melodies of Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot scattered (😉) here and there. The one in the last Forgo Isles level is a plain remix of Another Dimension though! And finally there’s “Metro on Ice”, which has melodies that resemble “Kirby’s Triumphant Return” and the Star Allies main theme, but are not 100% identical. But overall I do think the only *true* remix is “Scattered Souls accross Isolated Isles” (the remix of Another Dimension), since the others I think, were designed to sound VERY similar to leitmotifs we are familiar with, but not quite! There may be more stage remixes “per say” that I missed, but it doesn’t really disprove the idea that it was for the “new world” vibe. Man do I love Kirby music…!
I mean, this song is more or less self-descriptive, being a medley of four different songs from their games' respective final levels - Dangerous Dinner's *Limitless Power,* Royal Road's *Beautiful Prison,* Access Ark's *L86,* and finally Rainbow Resort, which uses the "Chilly Stage" music for a majority of its levels (if not all of them).

Say what you will about Star Allies in terms of gameplay, but you can’t deny that it has one of the best soundtracks in the series.
it just gets better each game
how do they do it
People complain about the gameplay? It plays like any modern Kirby game so those people are probably just being dopes

The legend of last world: a level to the past
"A level between words" fits better, actually, since Another Dimension is some sort of hyper-space, connecting other worlds together.
