2024 Lasair Dhearg Easter 1916 Rising Commemoration

A large crowd gathered in Milltown Cemetery on Easter Monday to mark the 108th anniversary of the 1916 Rising.
Those gathered were addressed by Republican ex-Prisoner and former Blanketman Pádraic MacCoitir, Vice-Chairperson of Lasair Dhearg, who delivered the main oration. It was also addressed by Lasair Dhearg's Belfast Chairperson Aindriú Mac Ruaidhrí who chaired the event, as well as Amy Rafferty of Lasair Dhearg Belfast who delivered a reading of the 1916 Proclamation.
