People people. I just finished the game and I must say: REAL GOOD. It's wholesome with a simple story you get invested in. There's a lot of gameplay in each city, and they have hats. HATS PEOPLE. I really recommend this for anyone who loves both cuteness, fighting, gathering, and a whole bunch of love
I got my little brother (he’s 11) this game for Christmas, and he absolutely loved it. The inventory issue has been fixed, as you can now upgrade the sizes of both your personal and village inventories. The night not ending isn’t really an issue in my opinion either, since most quests in the day ask you to complete them before night begins anyway, so having an endless night just avoids the stress and annoyance of dying just because you couldn’t get home in time. It’s a brilliant game, with a nice story, I definitely recommend it
This game is not what I expected. I thought it was an Animal Crossing approach, but is more like the old 2d Zeldas. And honestly is not a bad game, but I was looking something more relaxing and this wasn't that. The way they marketing the game was a little tricky tbh.
I'm surprised too. I thought it was going to be similar to Stardew: life sim with crafting exploring etc and some light fighting. I didn't expect boss fights etc. It still looks promising but it's not what I'm craving at the moment. I have too many games similar to this in my backlog at the moment lol. I was hoping for a more relaxing type game.
Correction, there IS an inventory upgrade that lets you stack resources up to 2x per item type (I know, not much, but it really does free up inventory space a bit)
Definitely on my list but I hope that in addition to the bug you hit, they consider patching a couple gameplay items- like allowing you to expand your inventory. Love the style and concept though so I’ll eventually get it regardless
The art style is far from Stardew Valley. It's simplistic pastel pixel art. SVs is more detailed. Don't get me wrong . Both looks great. I just hate it when people lump pixel art as one.
I really enjoyed this!! Took me a bit to finish...when I first bought it I waited around for a couple months to go back in (I felt a little frustrated because the map system confused me and I kept getting a little lost and just stopped). When I went back in, I paid more attention, read more dialogue than I did last time, and it definitely was beneficial to keeping me engaged. Like you said in the review, it was not QUITE exactly what I expected, but I had a really good time. Although the hats and backpacks were just cosmetic, I really didn't mind that and sort of equated them to just more things to collect. I quite liked unlocking the Memories too. Overall, had a really fun time and would recommend to people who like the top-down Zelda games, but also with a mix of Stardew.
I was very excited about the game based on all of the reviews and the art style but I was disappointed in the actual gameplay. I wish i'd waited for a sale at the very least. Now I'm just going to try to finish it to get my moneys worth.
I am looking forward to playing this one! Got the code for PC and had my bubbly eyes on it for so long! And the art is just so beautiful and who thought they would ever get the chance to play as a GRAPE! 🍇
I'd have to say this game is definitely a hidden gem on the switch, I call it hidden gem because the majority of switch owners don't know this game exists. This is actually a game that I tend to go back to constantly to playthrough again and again.
"the protagonist is a grape, burdened with grape purpose"
wait what

@@bozzydawg-boris1115 from my research, the going consensus is ~20 hours.

Oh so there's a lot of fighting? I don't like combat but was so excited for this one!

You can upgrade the stack amount for items in the crafting buildings

I agree with you there, Stardew Valley is more detailed.
Been waiting for this game when it was announced last year. It’s such a fun game!
It’s so so good!! Been playing it the last couple days and I adore it
The way they use pastel colors reminds me a lot of Mother 3.
I’m surprised no one’s pointed out how similar this is to Turnip Boy commits Tax Evasion
I was thinking it
@G L is it???
Just FYI: 15 is the highest number you can "store" in 4 bits.
wow, this looks so fun. Love the sprite designs :]

This looks SO darn cute. I'll definitely be pre-ordering the physical version that Limited Run Games just announced (when it becomes available).
Sweet, I’ve had this on my list for awhile. Will definitely pick it up, but I’ll wait for that patch.
Might buy it eventually seems a nice enough game.
Sounds like a very limited team made this game and didn't do enough user feedback testing. It's impressive though despite its short comings.
It’s a really good game. I’m stuck trying to kill the Bookworm right now.
I LOVE the soundtrack of this game. Reminds me of Bo En's work on Pikuniku.
u can get more inventory space by leveling up the villages

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same situation.
Your time is more valuable, just my opinion.
SAME
Game is a 9.5/10, only thing is the daily tasks get a bit repetitive but everything else is perfect
Cant wait to get this on sale
do you know when it might go on sale?
This style reminds me so much of swords of ditto
This game is really cute and fun, but the icon is killing me....
What about it?
@@yonyon5432 It doesn't have the title on it, just the grape. I know im nitpicking but...it just doesn't look right.
Yeah is pretty bad 😂
Is't like if animal crossing and zelda have a baby

Thanks for the review I was looking at this game!
“Storydew Valley” :’)
absolutely adore this game
A walking grape? Well that’s new
This comment killed me
Such cute little fruits and vegetables.
Was this made by the people behind golf story?
no
A grape burdened with grape purpose.
did.. did you say.. store dew valley..
The game takes wayyyy to long to really get going. The game also seems a bit expensive.
This seems real similar to Turnip Boy commits tax evasion
Awesome
Must resist…Sonic..right around…the corner… 😰
Hi
Swimmin' in 7s
So, is the final boss a giant foot? 🤪
It's unlikably hard at the start and then only gets easier as the character gains actual combat ability and movement.
Don't really like that...
Played to 2nd town, tried to like it but the game so boring.
how can you say you enjoyed 85% of it and give it like 7/10 wouldent it be like 8.5/10??
I love the color pallet but hate the character designs. I don’t want to be a grape, or save grapes, just not for me.
Nice
So fast!
Edit: Damn, I am Sam!!
