I definitely catch myself being too stiff trying to stay still. Now I see it. Thanks. I also think I’m gripping too much with my legs trying not to fall. It’s real fear. lol. I’m constantly telling myself take deep breath and relax. This was so helpful. I wish training stables would invest in these squish pads since they’re usually using retired horses and new riders. It would be nice for the horses ❤
Do they make a squish pad for Western saddles? I love the Comfort Cinch. I love your teaching even though I ride Western. Interestingly, I can sit the trot when my Friesian does more of a slow trot. I have no clue why at times he does a slow trot. I guess I need an instructor to help me with him. I had one instructor that really helped me with the sitting trot and then she retired. Darn it.

thank you
Doesn't the squish pad change the fit of the saddle?
