Great video CCO.... so many boat reviews are nothing more than a 5 min overview. This review brings so much more value to someone like me that is boat shopping. One suggestion would be to try to pull information out of these manufacturers as to what makes their boat special vs the competition (without naming names or crapping on their competitors.) maybe its the build time (as someone pointed out) that is half of what some of the competitors offer. maybe its the fact that they use a better grade stainless than industry standard. Ultimately.... why should a buyer consider this boat competition. Great stuff!
Not a horrible price tag for a nicely equipped cat. He talked about equipping it with quad 300's, they should take one up to Lake X and let Mercury test it with a pair of the new V-12s. They might be a little heavier than 4x 300's but definitely lighter than 4x 450's.
7:29 this is why I'd love to this board designed with a hydrofoil. Smother ride and over 20% better fuel efficiency. The downside is a little less top-end speed. But well worth the trade-off imo.
@@jakes5530 Look closer at your "Freeman" You need to be a contortionist to have a shit. Rear facing seat on the console comes with head splitting rod holders in a Seaway. Great hull but needs refinement on fitout and internal ergonomics.
@@bigbopper9627 i mean ya I personally wouldnt buy any of the 3 brands. I was just saying that freeman is by far the most trendy power cat on sale right now. I would never spend $650k+ on a boat without a standing head, shower, berth, built in grill and fridge. Maybe $250k depending on how seaworthy and efficient the hull design is.
Little out of my budget. Would love to see seahunter make a 32 and bet they would sell the shit out of them. I have priced the 28 Floridian and that is on my list to check out this fall. But hands down seahunter would get my money before freeman. Not saying there bad im just not one to follow the trendy names and i like their lines a lot more
@@jakes5530 Hey Jake thanks for the comment, not trying to come across as a troll cuz I respect what CCO is doing. 700k is so far out of range for almost all of us followers. Being able to turn at 40mph is cool and all but I wish CCO focused on fuel economy, trailerability, 1man fishability etc a bit more. I guess that's what I mean by more practical for the average Joe. It's fun to dream and I loved the bit they did on the 35 IFC by Insetta. I just think it would be cool to see bits on smaller and more realistic cats too like TwinVee Americat WorldCat etc.
Beautiful cat. You could get something very similar, if not superior for 400k. Hammercat 35. Quality is great, cost is low because they leverage cheap South African labour. American manufactured products are great, but a little overpriced, especially in 2021 where globalization has eliminated any sense of quality due to nationality. Someone needs to partner with Chinese manufacturers in Qingdao and get these products to market at 1/2 the price.
The Hammercat 35 max power is 800 hp -- half as much as this particular unit. So if youre looking for speed, it's not even close (55 vs 80 mph). In other words, this boat cruises comfortably at the Hammercat's absolute maximum speed.
@@jakes5530 True, I suppose twice the number of motors etc. I’m more interested in overall range and efficiency. 50 mph isn’t fast, but for a fishing vessel it isn’t slow either. When the seas are a washing machine, knowing that you can go 70 mph on a flat duck pond is meaningless. Different strokes for different folks. This boat looks very nice, you can get a similar one, albeit a slower one for half the price and still enjoy your day out on the water. I’m a miser so I’d get the Hammercat 35 probably, or something even cheaper. 😎
@@anthonywalker6168 I totally get that. World cat makes some excellent boats for even less than that hammercat if youre not interested in having the fastest boat. 320-cc or 320-dcx start at $350k and well optioned used ones are even less. Check them out if you havent already! Not too many people know about them it seems
@@jakes5530 Absolutely, I’ll check out World cat. I didn’t realize they were so reasonably priced. As I recall, World cat has been in the game for a long time too, good heritage. Thanks
That boat is nice.Quality fit and finish. The single level deck is the only way to go.Thanks for the tour.
Top boat review channel there is!!!

That 38 is a nice boat!!
Nice
Very comprehensive review. ROM on price and speed, fuel etc. each boat is different and to have the ROM is perfect. This is a beast on water.
Glad you liked it!
Sweet vessel . good video .
Damn good looking boat!!
Great Vid!
Great video as usual! This cat is a MONSTER!!!
damn thats a sick turning radius
How much the price...????

Do they come with seakeeper ?
I’m sure it’s an option, but I don’t think they’re all that effective on catamarans.
Who designed the hull?
Beautiful cat
Maybe i missed it, what’s the top speed and fast cruising mph/mpg?
10:27
@@kevincrawford7439 thanks
82 light 74 loaded / 1 MPG at 40 mph.
How much for this one?
Can't see Invincible losing any sleep over this one 🤣🤣

Twin Merc V-12’s would be my choice. Lol
Saaaaaaaaame

They do make a 32 it is called the Tournament 31
@@servefps thats a mono haul i was referring to a cat
Like the brand, but had a bad experience with the dealership and the salesman.... Ended up not buying...
💯
I think I would like a V hull more than the Cat. .
Definitely have to try it.
I am late to the party but seeing those engines move all over the place would scare the shit out of me.. are they bolted to cardboard?
Cost for this model?
21:58
$600,000 plus
Seems to porpoise and slam way more then Freeman. Let’s hope price tag is less.
Needs some of those new v12s
60 foot cat w/4- 600 V12 Mercurys
That’s what I’m waiting on. With those new 600’s I’m expecting to see an influx of 50+ft sportfish style catamarans.
3 boat lengths in diameter
Giving freeman a run for its money
As long as the build time is less than 24 months it'll beat the Freeman LOL
Seeing a almost Drowning engine..
WOW, imagine that, fast on plane with 1800 HP's. Who would have thought???
3/4 million dollars....for a center console
We want something smaller and more practical!
What does “more practical” mean? Also do you want a smaller cat or a smaller boat in general?
