  • We were delighted to have Colm Nally present for our coaches at the South East Coaching Workshop 2022 in the WIT Arena, Carriganore.
Colm was previously coach to the Meath senior football team as well as being a former inter county footballer with Louth.
A native of the O’Dwyer’s club in Balbriggan, north Dublin, Colm was a goalkeeper during his playing days. He was on the Dublin minor and U21 panels and spent a brief period as backup goalkeeper with the senior side.
Colm later moved to Louth and transferred to his new local club Newtown Blues. He lined out with Louth at senior level, winning a Division 2 title in 2002, and became heavily involved in underage coaching with the Blues. Colm went on to enjoy success as manager of Newtown Blues as well as leading Meath’s Colmcilles to the All-Ireland club intermediate final in 2017.
He managed Dublin SFC side Castleknock in 2018 before getting involved as the Meath senior football coach for the last four seasons. Colm has also written two excellent Gaelic football coaching manuals and regularly posts training exercises and drills on his massively successful UA-cam channel and Twitter page. His page has almost 600000 views at the time of writing.
Colm's session was a mine of information for coaches with some brilliant pointers and a really engaging style. His session was energetic, challenging and high tempo and our young footballers and coaches who attended really enjoyed it. We hope you enjoy it too.
