Hahahaha your reaction to Slimane's a capella part! "Not again" is exactly how I feel too. I get that it might be impactful for some first time viewers but like you said it could also turn first time viewers right off, so we'll just have to see. But I feel like he's just moved further and further away from the mic with each performance, so I guess by the time we get to the GF he'll be shouting from outside the arena lol
I want also him to shine. Such a good voice, but the song, can it reach the audience widely? Sorry, but the song is among the most old fashioned this year, but who knows when a song not so modern ticks all the boxes and win the whole, has happened
