Thank you to the participants for sharing what must be painful (collective or individual) memories for them. As a white American I am grateful for the chance to learn how this atrocity affects the Japanese and Japanese American people who were interred, and how it affects their decendants, too.
This is part of American history. I am sorry for the Japanese people to experience this during that time, however, it was a wise decision by the government at that time. Whatever is happening right now about slavery is also part of American history including confederate government at that time. My own feelings about these, is to just take it and move on. We can't erase whats has been done in the past (right or wrong). Its part of our history.
