    I have an armored flannel I bought this spring on Amazon that I am going to do a review on in a month or two, I wanted to try it thru most of a riding season before giving my review.

    • @ChopperFett
      @ChopperFett  4 роки тому

      That makes total sense! I'll do a short followup after the season is over for this (had for about 2 months now I think). What brand is the Amazon one?

    • @RidingintheOzarks
      @RidingintheOzarks 4 роки тому +1

      ChopperFett Milwaukee Performance, it didn’t come with back armor but has the shoulders and elbows and is Aramid which is basically same as Kevlar.

  • @BootsandJeansRiders

    Great Review Chop...It looks like it would be great for early spring rides and well into the summer.
    Love the fact that it don't look like a motorcycle jacket and you can't go wrong with the Kevlar.

    • @ChopperFett

      Yea I've never cared for how motorcycle jackets look themself, some of them look like Power Rangers lol. But you wear them cuz they save your rear lol.

    I’ve seen the ad pop up on FB countless times and it’s one I’ve been interested in.
    Went to look up info here and yours was the first video I found, and likely the only one I’ll watch.
    They really do seem to cater to us Ogre-Americans. Dixon made a 2xlt and the length was garbage. Finding gear in tall is a real PiTA. Being 6’6 and carrying most of my height in my torso makes it harder.
    Thanks for making this video. Keep the shiny side up, brother.

    • @ChopperFett

      Thank you!!!, I've really put it through its paces. I need to wash mine pretty badly at this point. I do feel like the flannel has faded ever so slightly, BUT, I didnt notice it until I got caught in a rain storm so it could just be dirty from all the water... and ya, its not waterproof, my shirt was soaked but hey, I dont usually look to ride in the rain haha.

    Got a 4xlt and I love how it fits. I can move my arms, unlike my leather jacket. No air shooting up the sleeves (I hate that), and the collar doesn’t flap against my neck (hate that also). I got the one with the zip in liner, but it definitely isn’t up to a 34 degree ride. Seems to breathe pretty well, but we’ll see how it feels when it warms up in my part of the world.

    • @ChopperFett
      @ChopperFett  3 роки тому

      I've used mine down into the low 60s (without liner) and I'll run it in the summertime up to 95 degrees. It breathes remarkably well but each person will feel different!
