Great info in this video I use to remap the flx6 what don’t have a physical button to use and select the CFX just can adjust and pre config 6 banks of FX but then if you wanna change it need use the mouse 🤦♀️🤦♀️ so I change it and I can use the merge effects what I don’t use to remap the effect list like FX or the CFX , again thanks a lot a huge hug from China
Sam Bourgein I don’t think so mate, I the Pioneer XP1 might work with CDJ’s but only for the cue points I think 🤔 I would test it out, but I sold my CDJs 🤦🏻♂️

Luke Dixon Is will only work directly with Rekordbox, so if the CDJ is is in HID mode and controlling the track in Rekordbox it should work at the same time, but it would not work with the CDJ alone
Hi djdpuk, i tried to map my tractor x1 mk2 and my traktor z1. Both I put on midi mode before mapping in rekordbox dj. Can you help me, is there something im missing.
Maybe this is a stupid question (I know it is) - If you're using say the RX2 controller on its own, you cant program and use an external midi device with it can you?
I dont see why not. I have my CDJs in HID mode and any other midi device appears on the drop down list to amended how I want. I have my SP1 and 2 x F1's set up now and all working independently of each other

Sorry, I should of read that correctly. I didn't realise you meant the stand alone controller!! I can't imagine you will be able to do that, as the data source (The USB stick) will have no way of understanding midi signals unless there is a midi section within the controllers options / setting section?
DjRoan It should work the exact same way as the X1 but you will have to decide which buttons you want to do what. They're may be some F1 midi csv files that you can import on some forums somewhere :-)
Thanks for your answer. unfortunately the interface of REKORDBOX is very limited for sample (16 samples, 8+8?) I'm forced to stay within this number of sample. I'd like to find a solution like using a F1 TRAKTOR external interface syncronized with rekordbox. If you've other solution to use the full pontential of F1 on REKORDBOX please let me know. Thanks
I have a DDJSX, Its already mapped for Serato and Rekordbox, i want to re map it, how do i do that? how do i add midi controls to other knobs or buttons
+STEVIEC MUSIC You will have to either 1. Delete the items you don't want and add them back in with the new control button/knob (Make sure you delete both the items relating to the new and old button/knob before adding the new one or it will come up with a conflict error) or 2. Start it from Scratch as I have shown with the X1. Let me know how you get on :-)
Yeh I would presume so, but not sure if it would be plug and play or you’ll have to set up all the midi 🙄 You might be lucky and someone may have already done it in one of the Traktor / NI forums 🤞
When you plug it in, does it appear on the connected devices in the Midi section? If so, are you using the learn to assign? and do other buttons work or none at all?

My X1 is sending MIDI just fine but I'm struggling with the feedback. I downloaded your file and I see how it works, comparing to the CSV files in the app contents. Any ideas?
+Stef Hey, sorry I got no led feedback from my controller either. I just have to remember what is on and what isn't. If you find out how then please let me know. It may not be possible as midi was only just added after all. Maybe the midi options for the led's will come with a later update?

Can you demonstrate how to change an existing mapping factory for example of the mapping controller ddj-sx series for example , to buttun that i want to change I get a message that the button alredy plays a role and is already mapped

They should work as it is just a CSV file which are not specific to operating system, but you will need to find where the other midi files are located on your system and copy it in to there. Hi pal. May be silly question but can you use the X1 without a computer or laptop running rekordbox? I.E alongside only CDJS and the DJM?

You could try the Pioneer forum, they have a midi section on there now. Or you could try djtechtools forum :-)

No, sorry.. It looks like Pioneer's midi setup doesn't support this at the moment. Hopefully in the future though

Does anyone know why the rekordbox does not recognise Kontrol F1 ?
17lyonl It does recognise it, but it is just not supported by Pioneer / Rekordbox as it is not a Pioneer product and thus is not Plug and Play
So what should i do ? If i go to the midi setting in rekordbox there is nothing come up . I turn on the midi on F1 but nothing happen .
borso laszlo Have you got the F1 plug in to a USB hub? If so, try plugging it directly in to the computer and see it it works then?
I have plugged it in directly to the computer and is is not working there is nothing in the list.
