Im glad! I did this exact order now i am really confident in godot and have been having fun solving problems myself! REALLY don't skimp out on learning programming cause holy moly it opens every door possible 🥹
How have you managed so far? Did you complete all the recommended videos and did they help you a lot? Asking because I'm thinking of following it myself.
Will you make a similar video like this for Unreal Engine? I'm having trouble deciding which engine to use, also awesome video and thanks for all the info!
Everything’s good except for one tiny thing. This video gives you advice on how to start learning quickly. The advice from the video only scratches the surface. To create not just a game for a game jam, but a true Game with a capital G, you need solid and deep programming knowledge. You need to know how to write complex, bug-free code that can be developed further and made even more intricate. I think being a programmer is a lifelong journey. With just basic knowledge from the Godot documentation, you'll only get an idea of how to start and make a very simple game. But I believe you're dreaming of projects like Skyrim, Dota, and other mountain-sized undertakings... All I'm trying to say is: be ready for a long, really long journey if you want to be a game developer. There’s no quick and easy way to learn it.
