WOW those are some awesome pipes you have. Those are the one style of pipes, That I do not have. Meershaums are really amazing looking pipes. Someday i will find one that just jumps out at me and says take me home. Love your collection. Thanks for sharing your cooling looking pipes. Cheers and keep on puffing brother. Just happened across your fine video, and immediately subscribed! Outstanding meerschaum collection, thank you so much for sharing it with us. And Charles is a great Vanna White. I am just amazed at the delicacy of the shanks. They must be incredibly fragile. Happy smoking, thanks again!
Thank you! The long stemmed churchwarden pipes are NOT all one piece. They range from 4-6 individual pieces of meerschaum with their own tenons but no liner. They are fragile and have snapped before, but the worst part is the screwing and unscrewing of the tenon into the meerschaum mortise joint. Thank for stopping by!
Yes, Yanik makes some of the best meerschaum pipes in the world. And the stem work that comes out of his shop is equally amazing. Good to hear from you Dr.!
Impressive collection. Never saw such large & ornate pipes before. Heard they are somewhat fragile compared to common materials used to make smoking pipes. My uncle had his fathers pipe that had a carved sea captain nicely colored a yellow/brown hue. Pipe fell & broke, was bought in 1925 in nyc. Anyway thanks for showing your beautiful pipes. Sweet smokes to you !
I had to subscribe! Very nice collection my friend. I love the content. Please keep posting more often, not enough meerschaum accounts on UA-cam. I’m thinking of maybe starting a smoking channel as I myself have quite a few briars and meerschaums that have colored quite nicely. Much love brother keep smoking those good blends!
Beautiful pipes but are the long stems all in one piece? And if so do they have a liner of some sort, I imagine that they could snap quite easily without one.
Help! i'm looking at a Meerschaum(?) in a lot of six pipes on ebay; it's in the shape of a bearded man in a turbin and there are no closeup pictures; it looks all white with no yellowing at all. i've asked and he says there is No seam back of the bowl and he says there's no writing on it. How can i be sure it's a genuine Meerschaum? thank you so much.

These types are more interested in the pipes than smoking.
That's right, because it would be preposterous to aesthetically enjoy the pipes you are smoking... lol
