This is a well-paced and awesomely descriptive I especially like that you listed the lesson segments in the box below. It is a lot for me to take in on the first viewing so I am saving it and will refer back to it as needed. Thank you for your patience and lovely presentation... I can go back over and over again if need be, and slow it down as well when I feel I missed a step. WONDERFUL VIDEO!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I was about to buy a camera because I didn’t understand my phone settings. I struggled to take photos of my products for my shop. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything. Now I am excited to try again.
Perfect tutorial video for lg mobile fans👍👏 I have lg g4 (perfect phone) since 2016 (serial no:608 - no bootloop problems) and i am familiar with this fine manual mode but only on photos,as on videos this function doesn't exist. The results on any light conditios are always perfect!! I am going to buy lg g7 today at the best price of 325€,completely vfm!! Greetings from Athens-Greece.
Thank you! I've had the camera for almost a year but I only recently decided to take advantage of its camera capabilities. This video was very helpful.
This was a great walk through I'm still using a lgg5 and when it updated to Oreo I noticed all my camera functions changed and alot of them are what this tutorial described I found this very helpful thank you 😀👍
Hi Tricia, thanx for watching. I used the pre-installed camera app from LG. You might need to change the camera mode from Auto to Manual to see all the settings.
Hi, this would have to be the best video on UA-cam showing the functions and settings Re the LG G7 ThinQ - I am wanting to make some videos but also have a lot of interest in photography. As I do not own a smartphone which phone would you recommend that would do a great job and be simple to use, it would also need to be better or as good as my old 2014 Sony NEX6 Camera and my Sony RX100 III that now has a broken tilt screen. Cheers Glenn from NZ. PS: my wife has a G7 ThinQ but I may not be able to use hers LOL.
Hi “I’m the best”, thanx for watching. You can check out my camera comparison video to see the quality difference between the LG G7 and the iPhone X ua-cam.com/video/KaMwQuCuY0s/v-deo.html
Thanku for the information in so of much details about camera can you brief little about which mode will be best to shoot videos for professional purpose? Thanku
Hi thanx for watching, glad you liked. I would definitely recommend the Manual Mode for professional video recording, there you have the most control of the camera settings.
@@TechPlover thanks for the reply. I played around a bit more and looks like this is possible (default) when in come video mode, but not regular camera (vid/photo) mode.
Hi Ajit, thanx for watching. Unfortunately I never had the experience to use the G7 Plus, but I would imagine that the settings/options are really similar.
@@TechPlover Hello thank you for the response, I got the G7 Plus delivered yesterday and I feel it is very similar as the G7. Not much of a difference than the extra RAM.
Hi Amier, thanx for watching... I only had the LG G7 as a review unit so unfortunately I cannot answer your question ... what I remember is that focus peaking only works in manual mode.
Hi Zucker Gaming, thanx for watching. Unfortunately I haven’t tried the LG V50 myself, but since the V50 is newer than the LG G7 I would expect the V50 to be at least slightly better.
I enjoyed learning to use the LG7ThinQ camera.l. The phone I purchased has more features. On the back facing camera: Snap Movie, Guide Shot, Snap Shot, Grid Shot, and Cine Shot. Front facing: Snap Movie, Guide Shot, Snap Shot, Grid Shot, and Cine Shot. Is there a video explaining those?
Ginger Bradford thanx for watching, glad you enjoyed it. I only had a review unit of the LG G7 ThinQ and at the time I did my video these features were not available to my best knowledge. I guess the phone has received a software update since then adding these features, so unfortunately I don’t have a video explaining those.
Sir I have one question Why does the camera zoom automatically when start taking videos Is there a way to switch that off and take video of the field as it is,a bit of the field gets chopped off while taking a video Thanks
Great video, helped a lot with me trying to get to know my Phone better. Btw theres 4K 60FPS now for video, but I don't know If that came with a update or not. But anyhow you earned a subscriber and a like! Best of luck, wishes, and holidays and Merry Christmas! Christ Bless!. [21-12-2019_21_03.]
Hi Prime Gaming! Thanx for watching. The camera on the LG G7 is actually quite good and I would think it is still good even though this phone was released in April 2018. If you find the LG G7 at a good price, I would say go for it. You can check out my camera comparison video between the LG G7 and the iPhone X and see the difference ua-cam.com/video/KaMwQuCuY0s/v-deo.html
It’s quite some time since I used the LG G7, but I would guess you could lock the focus by tapping your finger on the screen while in photo/video mode.
Hi Arianna! Thanx for watching. The time-lapse option should be in the Modes menu, see the instructions here: www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-218263/
Hi Brian_Apriliano, thanx for watching. Unfortunately I don’t have the LG G7 anymore and therefore I cannot dig into the camera settings to find out. I tried Googling the answer but unfortunately that was not helpful, but if I were to guess I would say at least 3 seconds.
Hi Adnan, thanx for watching… I don’t have the LG G7 anymore, but according to Google you should be able to lock the focus by tapping and holding your finger in the view finder when you have the camera open.
Hi Vikash! Thanx for watching. I only had the LG G7 for a short while as a review unit, but the time I had it I really liked it. It was fast, easy to handle and took good photos (as you can see in my camera comparison video to the iPhone X ua-cam.com/video/KaMwQuCuY0s/v-deo.html). Yes I would say that the LG G7 is worth it if you can get it for ₹ 17k.
This was so good! It's well-paced and awesomely descriptive. I learned a lot more than on my own. I appreciate the time iy took.

Why does the front facing camera have a perpetually flashing IR light? It can be seen if you point any other camera at the phone.

But i have a question
Is LG G7 ThinQ has timelapse mode??
yes,but you must download from LG SmartWorld
Under the settings menu, you should see a Download button in the upper-right corner near the Flash symbol.
What about time lapse? it says it has it, but the option is nowhere to be found. Thanks!
