Hi there, great video as allways! :) Something is bothering me: Why are there no more air vents in modern jets? I flew a lot in the past few years but since 2012 I'm missing these chilling air vents above the seats, on continental (Europe) and intercontinental flights (USA). I am wondering about a few things: 1. Why is it so hard for people to board a flight? They have to go through security, wait in big lines for checkin, etc. 2. Why are flights so long? What would happen if a plane started to overspeed, and go faster than usual? What's the problem with that? What is the longest flight non-stop in this world?
If the engine overspeeds, the airflow through the intake will rise to an abnormal level. This causes the flap valve to snap shut, starving the engine of air and shutting it down.
hey guys Singapore airlines actually does go over the North pole from New York to Singapore and it takes 19 hours (it also goes around the Pacific ocean and the Atlantic ocean

they do some times
