Not necessarily, it may, especially of the pet was sick for a long time and the owner just did not fully realize or was in denial. However, if the suspicion on wrongdoing is there, then divination may provide further clarification. The point here is that accusation of curses or wrongdoing have to be confirmed and there are several ways to do it before confronting or wrongly accusing someone, something done way too often in my opinion.
