I've played MP with multiple groups for years, and our gameplay looks identical to the PC's. Every group with a lot of MP experience, from FWOB to Vanoss, plays the exact same (it's just less obvious they just respect the not last grind instead of being toxic and yelling about it when they get sabotaged or rubbing it in when they don't get last)
