Can i say, just about a year ago i was going through ittt when i found ur channel when i was thinking of applying for fine art abroad (im a psychology grad from london but fck the uk) but then a LOT of life happened until i decided
Im gonna go for it and a few months ago i subscribed to your channel so that i can be excited and focused and learn about other’s experiences as art students. And now i am in the process of applying doing my entrance exams and all that and i love love love sitting down to make my room like a mini studio watching and listening to your videos it feels like we are working together all of us. Ur videos and ur vibes are the best and im really grateful for your consistency and dedication to this channel, its a joy for many people! Good luck for your last semester 💗
ugh i'm literally obsessed with your thoughts on manifestation/goals bc you're so right like I've only recently having 'big' goals and dreams but i've always struggled with the idea of like 5 year plans or whatever but i think this was definitely the reminder i needed that Ok a goal is just an idea like it can be literally anything and even if i don't get there i'll at least be headed in A direction like i just wanna have movement, yk??
Anyways i wanted to mention a thing i heard about in an episode of Fiberchats (interview-based podcasty youtube channel about knitting/crochet/etc, but this is more of a life thing in general). I'm not sure if the woman who was being interviewed (i cannot for the life of me remember her name while i'm writing this but the title of the video is something along the lines of Knitting/Crochet for Every Body) had come up with this or she mentioned hearing it from somewhere else, but she was talking about this 100 Rejections challenge she was doing where she's actively trying to be rejected on 100 different things she tries/asks for, and it literally transformed something in me idek like shifting the goalpost from 'I really want this thing' to 'I really want to ASK for this thing and if i get it or not i'm still winning somehow' was revolutionary. But that's just what i was thinking when you were talking about being less timid/dreaming bigger and actually reaching for the things that you want, so if you can find the video and check it out you might like it!! Loving the vlogs, sorry to drop a whole ass essay on you but also not sorry bc we love fostering community and all that!! :}

Algorithm gods brought me here - your studio vlogs are helping me power through the last part of my master's program. I feel like I don't have as much time to paint (unfortunately the program is not art-related) with all the work due this semester. Thank you for letting us all live vicariously through your journey. This may sound crazy but my dream is to just do everything I am chronically ill and missed out on my whole childhood in hospitals so I want to experience as much as I can. I always imagine myself in little cafes around the world being a mysterious stranger doing life drawings of people around me lol.
