Have you been on the fence about using IEMs because of their cost? Well, I think I found some affordable ones that are just as good as my mid-range custom IEMs. Tell me what you think in the comments!
Thanks for sharing but aren’t you tethered to your controller for the entire event if you’re wearing these? Aren’t over the ear much easier to quickly throw on and off. I think an ideal solution would be low latency Bluetooth IEM
I’ve had an expensive UE pro custom pair for 4 years, they serve two purposes, 1 wasn’t covered in this video (which is great btw) Ear protection is a big thing for me even if I’m not performing and I’m at an event having them just as ear plugs, safe and super comfy and don’t need to buy separate ear plugs. Some events have shitty to no proper monitors and rubbish reflections just beating you up. This is where in ears are unmatched. It’s your own monitoring system. I don’t find mobility an issue honestly. And I can hear the some ambient noises so I can check the room
Also worth mentioning is the KZ ZST X. I have 2 of them and it works.

How you connect IEM to your dj mixer?
It's just like any other headphone cable. Just plug right into the headphone jack.
@@djkanoya hi there. what size is the headphone jack? can you convert them?
You can use a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter.
@@djkanoya thanks a lot

There are definitely pros and cons to both ... but yes, the inability to "throw on and off" IEMS is a drawback.
@@djkanoya … all you have to do is just unplug jack from controller when you have to move around or walk away
Or you can use you EQ to mix and turn down the headphone channel to hear the speakers playing :)
