prob chalk/kick caused by the red ball, the cue ball lost its screw shot momentum

Not a legal playing area, only the bed of the table is. If a ball stops there, it's a fault.
@@SnookerPlanet Lots of bottom spin, miscue, land on the edge of the table, spin activates screwing white back, hits red back onto table and into corner pocket, white screws perfectly onto the black. Easy ;)

When they try to screw the white ball back they need hit it very low and sometimes it doesn't connect properly and the ball takes off
Or sometimes the chalk on the tip isn't applied evenly.

Let's say your 32 ahead with one red left on the table (35 remaining). It's your turn and the red to play. If you knock the red off the table, then you'll be 28 ahead but with 27 remaining. If you thought you had a 90% chance of making the pot, or a 100% chance of knocking the red off the table if you tried then it might be the desired play, so long as you could guarantee that they'd be on the yellow. I don't think there's a rule against deliberately knocking a ball off the table but if you did it in a pro tournament, then they would probably amend the rules so you'd be the only one who ever did legally.
Yea I thought about similar stuff too. However, there is an "unsportsmanlike conduct" rule.
@@lucas29476 Surely that's more for calling someone's mum fat. This to me seems like good snooker. Having read the rules now, it explicitly acknowledges that the red shouldn't be replaced, even though this may benefit the fouler.

Why most of players look at the pool cue ? Seems like soccer players when they lose a penalty kick and look and touch their boots blaming it.
Because a miscue can damage the tip
