Excellent work in this video! Keep it going…. I look forward to hearing the background of players I will be watching at The Las Vegas Aviators games over the next 3 seasons and The Las Vegas Athletics in 2028!!
@LockedOnAs I'd have the rotation as Severino/Springs/Sears/Bido/Lopez. Will see though, a lotta guys can step up ya never know with pitching. One thing I do am gonna miss was the foul territory advantage the A's had alone pitching at the coliseum half the year.
@@LockedOnAs he's got a career 2.99 era in the minors. A little step back year last year though in the minors compared to '23. And I think 11k's per 9 it said, The walks forsure he'll have to bring down though, 3 per 9
I saw him in his A's debut against Rangers in the first game of a double header. He pitched well that day but developed a blister. Langeliiers had chance for cycle in last at bat and all he needed was a single. It was a fun day.
I’m very high on Bido but I do feel like he would bring more success to the club as a long reliever out of the pen . Kinda how we had Mitch Spence at the beginning of last season. I was at that Angels game and he started really hot but got beat up a little the second-third time through the lineup . Him and Hogan Harris would be a great L/R long relief combo in a bullpen that feels very bottom heavy at the moment
@ let’s just say I’d feel more comfortable with Bido in long relief than I would Spence or Estes. Their stuff just isn’t as dynamic as his and innings 4-6 feel more valuable than 1-3 to me. Bido as the spot starter/long relief guy would be a great sweet spot going into the season.
If the A's bring in a veteran starter like Lynn, Gibson, heaney or quintana. Then bido is the 5th starter and Spence is in the bullpen long reliever. Estes and ginn in triple A
I like Bido the problem with the A's starting rotation is only severino and sears have thrown 170-180 innings in a season. Bido, spence, estes and springs are not innings eaters they don't go deep in ballgames. It would make sense to add lynn or Gibson to this rotation. Those guys are innings eaters giving you 180-200 innings a year. They won't tax your bullpen and keeps them fresh
I don't disagree with you. I think its two issues when you are talking about bringing in a vet pitcher. First and foremost, the A's don't want to spend more than they need to. Secondly, I feel they think that Estes who I believe is the front runner for the 5th spot is simply better than any Veteran arm on the market right now. There is something to be said for that.

Im glad you're high on bido. I was as well all year long. Hes incredibly under rated!
He is definitely under the radar for sure.

@ Lopez! Ok! I like it flea market. I didn’t think of Lopez, but who knows.

@ maybe our high leverage lefty. Let’s see how the spring goes.

@@EugBaseball I was at that game as well! Unfortunately I could not stay for game 2
Game 2 was fun too as the A's made a 9th inning rally that came up short.@@LockedOnAs

I hear you, but do you really think Spence and Estes are better than Bido to take the 4th and 5th starting spots?
