- Anyone who had a Nintendo 3DS or Wii U as a kid knows the chaos of Miiverse, Nintendo's own social media. And now that online servers for that era have been fully shut down, one of you lovely viewers suggested that I make a video of this Twitter thread with funny Miiverse posts! SO I DID! YAY! 🦘

That was a success and had Miiverse compatibility later on (In fact, I was part of both; the Wii U and 3DS communities.)
The Wii U was a great system. Particularly if you are a Zelda fan.
It had sooo many Zelda games available on the system. It mods pretty well, too.
The fact most of the odd or most chaotic of the Miiverse is from the Splatoon community is golden to me. It proves that the community barely changed in terms of humour lol

splatoon is the best series just cause the devs are corny and the community is corny so it evens out in terms of silliness which just makes it work perfectly.
And the fact that they KEPT the posting feature in the sequels shows the devs secretly love the community's madness xD

I just have no words for some of the bizzare and unfounded content on the platform, truly all that there ever was.
Did nobody else notice Scott The Woz at 5:19? He wasn't that popular back in 2017, so I'm pretty sure that his post in particular was a fully grown adult, i.e. the real Scott.

I think some of these posts are fake, actually. The one about the Switch cartridges is especially suspect, seeing as MiiVerse went offline years before anybody ever even heard of the NX, much less the Switch.
If you don't believe that people would talk about a console, that was released in March 2017, on a service that got taken down in November 2017, then I don't know what to tell you, @@dead_byte
Contrary to your belief, there indeed was a bit of an overlap, allowing for posts about the new console to be legitimately posted there.
The water guy was referenced on the Mario Movie plumbing site (no longer up unfortunately) it was one of the “reviews” on the site. It said “amazing looking water courtesy of the brothers.” I’m positive it’s supposed to reference him. It mentions water and was in all lowercase. They also referenced that Mario & Luigi Paper Jam screenshot too.

Oh my GOSH, Miiverse was my first social media. I learned how to draw and became familiar with Undertale and the entirety of indie gaming because of it!
And also made a fool of myself several times since I was a sheltered teen and it was my first exposure to interacting with people on the internet, but all things considered, it was probably the best, safest place I could do so.

Lethalhedgehogs (tumblr user) finally did it for me. I think the reason I latched on to her depictions was because she was an aro-ace like me. Mensexuals found her posts and started simping, and it actually wasn't her intention! I had a good laugh about that... before she deleted her account out of nowhere.
Luckily I recently found a recovery blog in case anyone's interested. She also had other fandom stuff, including things you wouldn't expect like the Bone comics, but I'm not sure where those went.
This is a wonderful showcase of why Miiverse was shut down.
